I think that's a great choice, I've heard lots of great things about both the MVPv2 and the Aerotank v2.
I started on a Green Smoke cigalike and moved to a nautilus Mini and iStick within a couple of days.

I started with a ego650, dual coil cartomizer tank, bottle of USA Favorite 18mg juice.
Lord only knows how much I've spent before I reached the level you are starting at.
Remember the first rule of vaping though:

You could certainly make a far worse gear choice

typical ego and some plastic kanger tanks. quickly upgraded to a vision spinner and a bunch of protanks.
I started with the Kanger starter kit, I wish I would have started with the mvp2, but at the time it seemed important to feel like a cig in some way.
I started with a Vamo v5 with Aspire mini Nautilus and/ or KangerTech AeroTank. Only had it about a week but I love it and easily transitioned into vaping instead of sticky sticks.
I started with the MVP v1 kit. Soon after switched to the ProTank v1. Still got both as they are still working just fine, although I do have some pretty good choices in my collection now.
Cigalike a few years back that didn't work for me.
About a week ago I bought an itaste SVD and a couple of iclear 30's. Nice having the variable voltage and variable wattage if I want to boost the vapor production when I'm having a craving, and turn it down for regular use.

I started with a cigalike from V2. I used it on and off for about five months as a novelty before I decided to use it as a means to quit smoking. I quickly moved through eGos and cartomizer tanks before I found my passion for authentic mechanical mods and RBAs.
I started with a TKO Firefly v2 ego and their version of an iclear 16D. I wish I would've found this site first (not that I don't like that ego set up, because I do). I have a feeling I severely overpaid. My favorite ego (an itaste LEO, and a Kanger evod tank combo) cost a good deal less. Oh, well. You live, you learn, and then you find ecf

I started with two Ego C-Twists and two Kanger ProTanks.
And I think the MVP2/ Aerotank combo is a really good choice. I bought an MVP2 last year, and it still comes with me a lot, mostly because I can go a few days without having to worry about the battery running out of power!
