Buzz? Head rush? I personally don't feel one. I jump back and forth between my e-cig and the analog cigs, especially at work and when I compare the two, I get more of a head rush with the analogs, more than likely due to the chemicals in the
tobacco. If I were to compare an e-cig and an analog cig, I think of them as being a glass of Hennesseys and water. The e-cig is the water and the analog is the Hennesseys. With an analog, I feel, a bit of a bite in the back of my throat whereas the e-cig has a smoother feel when
vaping.
<onto my soapbox>
Rio, like all of us here, we are people who smoked regularly...significantly more than 1 a day...in some cases an average of 1 per hour that wanted an alternative and safer option to get our nicotine.
Smoking about 1 a day means that you are more of a social smoker or one that needs a fix to calm the nerves every so often. Smoking 1 a day is not an addiction, but more like a habit. All of use here needed it to survive (okay, maybe a bit over the top but hopefully you get my meaning). If your desire to switch to an e-cig is for that 1 smoke per day or to be cool or to have a new "toy", then it would be a waste of money and possible frustration on your part when it fails or if it fails to give you the desired feeling. You also run the problem of then being addicted to nicotine (which I hardly believe you are at this point) and then blaming the e-cig due to how easy it is to smoke more.
Personally, I love my e-cig. I think it's great. I've cut down on the regular analogs significantly. It used to be that on the weekends, I'd have to buy at least one pack. Now, the only time I buy a pack is if I'm out of analogs on a friday night. I don't plan on completely quitting but this is definately a step in the right direction if I wanted to.
I don't think I"m wrong in my assesment but I could be wrong...it wouldn't be the first time.
