ok so ive got my first ecig last week (joye 510 starter kit) and i love it! i was a pack a day smoker and havent touched an analog since i started vaping. so im sold. this is something i want to keep doing, and im ready to upgrade. im getting an ego... i know that for sure. but my question is should i get the ego twist or just a standard with passthrough? am i even going to know the dif between vaping at 3.7 or 4.8? the idea sounds cool but so does the idea of vaping while i charge (perfect for a road trip)and i only get one choice. im not going to buy one of the knock off egos and im not going to spend $80 on a mod. if i get the standard ego c passthrough am i just going to be ...... that i cant vape at a higher volt?

please help, i have been ripping my hair out trying to figure out what to do.

yea just get yourself a Twist kit it will only cost you a few extra dollars compared to a standard ego battery, more then likely you will enjoy being able to adjust your vape with voltage as most people do.
ill also ad that you might want to grab a mini vivi nova tank for the set or just buy a kit that comes with both twists and vivi novas.
something like THIS.

I think getting variable voltage in a beginner setup is a wise choice. The beginner does not have to change the voltage on a Twist or Spinner; many are happy just using the default 3.7 volts.

However, the price difference between fixed voltage and variable voltage in the eGo batteries is negligable, so by going for that right from the get go will prolong the usefulness of the battery and the need to advance at a later point.

Having the ability to adjust the voltage can affect the vapor production and throat hit minimally. Where it really shines is for adjusting the voltage to each flavor that you have. Some flavors taste best around 3.5 volts, some in the mid 4 volt range, and others above 5 volts. For each flavor, start low and work up in voltage in increments of 0.2 volts until the juice starts to taste a little burnt, then back down a couple of increments of voltage, and you likely have found the sweet spot for that flavor.

I just got a VV device, and what I've found most important, right off the bat, is the VV devices regulate a constant output so the vapor production doesn't change with the battery's charge level. I don't play around too much with the voltage yet (don't really have the atty's for it) but that consistency alone is worth it to me.

yeah i have looked at the spinner before, but have been warned about off brands. (basically not joye if im looking into an ego) when i say i have been warned i mean i have seen people say it on there youtube vids, so i dont really know if thats true or not.

am i going to still be getting a quality product or one that is going to slowly hold less and less of a charge over time, and possibly blow up in my face or something? im lookin at you china.

oh and i also want it to vape well lol. obviously.

Welcome !

I started with a eGo-C starter kit. Bought two 1000mah batteries as extras- then bought a eGo twist, then a eVic.
Use my eGo's as my day to day- carry around vape gear, use the twist and eVic at home with tanks.

If you can only have one- go with the twist...you can vary the voltage to the liquid.

iMHO- Best to You !

It's not an off-brand, Vision is a reputable company w/ good products and the spinner isn't really a knock-off, more of an upgrade to the twist since you can see the numbers on the dial, etc. Made in China in this case just means its $25 instead of $50...I've had mine for a couple months now and it's been perfect...lasts me the whole day and I just charge it once at night. Hits consistently and I've dropped it at least 3 times on my kitchen floor and it's totally fine. Should last you at least 6 months of daily use from what I've heard.

Ego-C Twist or Vision Spinner...both are essentially the same. I have a Twist myself and I think its fantastic, but I moved on to a Vamo a few days ago, but that doesn't mean I won't be using the Twist.

how you like the vamo? worth the $ in your opinion? thinkin about gettin one but can't decide if I should or just save up for a provari.
