Plz help. I really like the e-cigarette, but the amount of vapor I am getting is so little, if it were more like a real cigarette, i would love my new e-cigarette. I read someone else's story about how he found his Joye 510. But before I spend the money, I would like to know anyone would have any suggestions for me. Someone who has been in this situation. I have tried the direct ecig model, not enough vapor to say that I actually feel like im smoking something... the no.7 disposable, that seemed to produce the lightest bit more, or was it becuase it was full flavor, but still so sensual smoke comming out of my mouth on excale, im so dis-disappointed. Someone reply plz, im planning on purchasing a different model this week. And also i want a model that it meant for this, that has extra battery and cartridge side, to make it work as if you are smoking that much more vapor just normally.

Thanks So Much,
-Nate:)

Well, you certainly can't go wrong with a 510. It's a solid beginner model.

However, if you are after plumes of vapor, I recommend an eGo model. It's got the same threading as the 510 (so you can use the 510 atomizers/cartridges/cartomizers/etc), but the battery is bigger.

The bigger battery means that you can put low resistance atomizers and/or cartomizers on it, which will produce the HUGE vapor you are craving!

If you are okay with something that looks slightly less cigarette-like (thicker), and has a manual battery (push a small button to have it heat the juice), the Riva 510 from liberty-flights is a very good buy, $30 after discount. Pick up something called a Boge 2 ohm 510 cartomizer, plus some liquid with a bit of vegetable glycerin (VG) in it, and you should get good vapor.

If you prefer something more cigarette sized, and perhaps automatic (starts when you inhale), the KR808D-1 can be a good choice. It has higher voltage (more warmth, vapor) than a normal 510, and longer battery life between charges (more mAh). vapor4life (their VaporKings are KR808D-1), nhaler, and vaporsetc. are a few good vendors for them. If you were a moderately heavy smoker pick what is called the XL or Mega batteries -- more mAh than a standard 808 battery, though about 1" longer. With an 808 you can buy pre-filled cartomizers, makes life simpler to start up.

All good suggestions. You can definitely get better vapor with a higher VG content. It can also help to hit the button a second before you take your hit. Last, and probably the most important, be sure to take longer, controlled draws from an e-cig. Quick short draws won't do much. Good luck and welcome to ECF!

Hi nate.
I understand where you're coming from. Inhaling and exhaling large clouds of vapor gives me a large charge!
Regardless of which popular beginner PV you choose(kr808, 510, ego, Riva, 901. etc), you should have good vapor production.
I vape a kr8 and like a variety of e-juices, but having a blend with some VG in it does make a difference.
Get one of the above mentioned PV's to start with and you can't go wrong. Make sure you get a variety of e-juice with your first order. whatever your budget allows.

I recently switched to an e-cig and felt the same way the first few days. I just wasn't getting the "draw" feeling I got from an analog nor, the vapor... After googling and reading e-cig forums I figured out you have to hit an e-cig different than an analog... Especially an auto battery... Try taking longer hits and don't suck in so hard. There is no feeling of expansion like you get with an analog... And, there is not really a feeling of taking a "draw"... But, you will get vapors when you exhale if you take slow steady hits of about 5 secs... Hang in there, It took me a week or so to put down the analogs for good...............
