Reomizer or A7 ?

heard some good stuff about the A7, but the Reomizer is made and built by Reos Mods, should be more compatible/better right?
The reomizer is not "made" by Reos Mods...it is a modified atomizer built from Chinese made parts. The idea being making an RBA that's inexpensive for those who want to give it a try....an entry level RBA if you will. And yes, the compatibility is better because the A7 has a wobbly center post that can cause shorts if it's not addressed before using.

I recommend getting 3 AW 18650 IMR 1600 or 2000mah batteries with the button top. Atomizers are up to you...I always prefered Cisco 306s and Joye Tech 510s. But so many people have different preferences. If you already have atomizers and cartomizers that are either 510 or 306 ...you can use them while you get more acquainted with your Grand. I do recommend drip tips...but what kind you will like is also something I can't guess at. Take a look at RTD's website...they've got a little of everything there so you can see what is available to you. RTD Vapor AW Batteries

Which batteries? atomizers? Anything else?

Do I need a drip tip?

AW IMR 3.7 battery, I would get two or three. Make sure you have a charger that will charge them.

You can use atomizers or cartomizers. The RBA's are for experienced users. 510 or 306 standard or L.R. for the attys and cartos. You will need drip tips. The 306 is a different tip than the 510.

If you choose to get a RBA you will need a ohm meter also. That is so you can check the ohms of the coil you build before you put it on your REO.

If you want to go with a RBA you might want to consider trying 2mm silica rather than the 3mm. Wrap your coil around a round toothpick, double your wick over to form a loop on one end and pull it through your coil with a piece of bent wire.

This method will give you a very nice 4mm wick. Pulling a single strand of 3mm silica can be a bit problematic and doubling it over gives you a 6mm width which can't be pulled through without really distorting your coils.

You need a AW 18650 battery, a Reomizer RBA, some silica wick and Kanthal wire... Congrats! :)

You also need a charger. Batteries and chargers can be purchased off RTDvapor. There is a link on Robs site. I use the xtar wp II. Works perfectly every time.

I don't know about either of those attys, Rob buys an atomizer and modifies it, he does not make it. I hear great things about em. They don't fit my REOs though.

I use a hornet. I also use 30ga Kanthal A1. Wish I knew about this site when I bought mine http://www.temcoindustrialpower.com/products/Resistance_Wire/RW0107.html

It's like 1/2 the price I paid for the same wire.

I also use rolled cotton. Seen to many MSDS on silica to ever voluntarily inhale it.

The A7 and REOmizer are two different animals, each having there own vape qualities. The main difference as I see it is the air intake. THe A7 draws air from the bottom like a standard atty or carto. The REOmizer draws air from the a side hole in the top cap.

Its a personal preference thing really. You will find ardent supporters for both styles. Since they are both relatively inexpensive you may consider trying both to see what you prefer.

You folks sure make this vaping thing sound complicated. If I'd asked canonikon's question and been bombarded with that much techical info, I may have given up entirely and headed back over to my favorite store in Idaho with Senecas for $22.00 a carton. Whew!
BTW, nice interception, Lisa. Canonikon asked what time it was--not how to build a watch.

These are just suggestions. Previous recommendations on attys, batteries, and chargers are good, too.

Charger (Make an offer for $20.00)

Inexpensive battery (probably work ok, but better to buy AW if money isn't tight, buy 2 or 3, Use code WEREBACK for 15% off - good through the 18th of Feb.)

Recommended battery (buy 2 or 3, Use code WEREBACK for 15% off - good through the 18th of Feb.)

Shorty cartos (vapes well, inexpensive, easy to use for newbies, buy 5 or more, Use code WEREBACK for 15% off - good through the 18th of Feb.)

Drip tips (nice selection, any will work except for the ones labeled for Vision Clearomizer and CE4, Use code WEREBACK for 15% off - good through the 18th of Feb.)

E-liquid: can't advise without knowing what flavors you're wanting or the strength of nicotine you might need. But you'll need some if you don't already have some.

The Reo Grand is a great mod. :vapor:
