What do I need to know about building dual coils?

Yes, with dual coils you usually want two opposing air holes - one in front of each coil.
You want both coils to end up at exactly the same resistance - kinda tricky sometimes - or one coil will heat up before the other.
I use 30ga, 7 wrap, micro-coil - comes out to 2ohms each which equals a 1ohm dual-coil.

Ok thanks. I just got a Nimbus clone from fast tech. It had a dual coil setup pre installed. There are two holw in it but the sit way above the coils. I may have to drill a couple more holes by the coils.
I've got the same "Chimbus". 
Works fine with the stock holes where they are, just need to be drilled out a bit and move your coils up so they are in front of the holes.
I forgot to mention - that 7 wraps of 30awg is on a double 3mm wick.

Make sure you've got good batteries. You'll be pulling a lot more current with dual setups. Clouds of Vapor= Good. Clouds of Hot Gasses= Bad.
