Good evening everyone!

I have a Ego twist and bought a kit that came with 2 batteries, 2 clearos and 1 tank. One battery worked once and died and one clearo hasn't worked. The store is sending me a new battery but not the clearo. Since I am down to one battery for now I am learning the hard way to have more back ups.

I have on order another twist battery, a 510 kit and extra battery, cartos and e-liquid.

After all this rambling I wanted to see if you guys could tell me what and how much you keep on hand so you always are able to vape. I don't want to go back to analogs because I don't have the correct items.

Sorry for the rambling and thank you for the help!

That's not an easy question to answer since it's different for everyone. Some people just have a couple of batteries, a couple of tanks, and some cartos and they are fine. Others have a bunch of different PVs from cig-a-likes to Provaris. There is no right answer. Most vapers go through a process where they try different PVs, different atty/carto/clearos, different liquids until they find what satisfies them and makes any lingering cravings for a cigarette go away. I started with a cig-a-like, moved on to an e-Go C, then I fell in love with twists, had to have a Provari, and I recently bought an e-Roll for the times when I need something small but powerful. Could I have always had what I needed if I had just stayed with the e-Go C's? Yup. But I wasn't completely satisfied until I tried a twist.

I like to have four twists on hand. But that's just me. I use stardust clearos on them (the ones with the replaceable heads) and I have about ten stardusts and about forty heads. I have two set up all the time with my two favorite flavors and I go back and forth between them. As long as you have at least three working batteries and ten to fifteen ways of vaporizing the liquid (cartos or clearos) and you have plenty of liquid on hand (don't wait too late to order more), you should be fine. If worst comes to worst and all your batteries die at once or you completely run out of juice, look for a shop in your area where you can run and get more. If there isn't one, you can buy a disposable e-cig and use it until your replacement supplies arrive. You don't have to ever have another analog again if you don't want to.

Good luck and welcoming to the wonderful world of vaping!!

One of the cardinal rules of vaping: ALWAYS HAVE SPARES!!

I have two Vtubes (One primary, 1 backup)
3 18650 Batteries for the Vtubes
3 Chargers for the 18650s
4 ego style batts (kGos, twists, etc)
2 ego/kgo chargers

I have 4 vivi nova tanks I keep in rotation
2 tanks still in box as reserves
Roughly 15 replacement heads for the vivis

About 30 or so standard 510 cartos as emergency reserves.
About 20 or so various clearos (VNanos, Flux Pheonixes, and several different versions of the Stardust)

And for juice around 80ml on hand.

I like to have plan A, B, C, D, E, and F in place just in case Murphy decides to trash some of my gear.

You just need to get started and keep doing what you're doing. Sorry you had trouble with some of your hardware. It happens. A lot of stuff comes from China and their quality control is crap.

Before you buy, try to make sure the stuff you're getting is legit. To me, eGo means Joyetech. The others are knock-offs. Doesn't mean bad knock-offs, but you have to know what you're buying. Joye has a vested interest in QC for their products, since it's brand-name.

One think came to mind: if you're around a computer or an electrical outlet, a pass-thru battery might be a decent thing to have. That way you're not waiting for a battery to charge without being able to vape. Make sure you get whatever chargers you need(USB, AC, DC)

While shopping for flavors, either visit a local shop & sample their juice, or seek reputable juice suppliers, read their reviews, and buy sample packs. Most people go through a lot of flavors before finding ones they can suck all day long.

My answer to you is never stop buying things. Never. Every paycheck buy more clearos, cartos, atomizers, tanks, batteries if you can, mods, and juice. If you go by that ethic, you'll know when you can stop buying clearos and tanks and cartos and atomizers and juice. You'll figure out which juices you like best and you'll buy 30ml bottles of them and you'll never be unsatisfied. You'll just be replenishing what you run out of at that point. Until your there, keep buying. Buy mods, buy extra batteries to put in the mods, buy what you can afford and don't look back until you are completely confident in the things you have. I don't mean splurge and go crazy, and by no means do you NEED 5 mods or 4 eGos but if you want to be completely care free and if you want to have a tank of A. juice filled and a tank of B. juice and a clearomizer of C. juice each on their own device so you can just pick one up and vape, keep buying. Keep buying. What you NEED you already pretty much have.

2 minimum, but 3 or 4 eGo batteries is best if your ONLY going to use eGos. Otherwise start looking at mods.
You might want a few atomizers for when you just want to drip or you just want a small taste of a juice.
You might want to try a rebuildable atomizer or two because it'll last forever if you learn to rebuild it.
You might also like to try a rebuildable tank system such as the smoktech R tank or an Aga tank.
You might want to have 2 or more 5 packs of 45mm cartomizers on hand for your cartomizer tanks.
You might want to have a lot of either carto tanks, or clearomizers, or vivi tanks for holding many juices.
You might want to start trying out a lot of juices. When it comes to buying juices @ first:
Go for sample size first and then buy bigger when you know u like it.
You might want to start buying mods, start looking at mods in the "Post Pictures of your PV" thread on ecf.
You might want to get a wide variety of drip tips for color coding your juices or remember which is in ur tanks.
You might want to try different types of clearomizers, T3 bottom feeder or the visions or redux or vivi mini.
You could start thinking about DIY juice making and buy a kit that includes everything you need.
You might want to stock up on stainless mesh or wick material if you plan to rebuild things.
You might want to start thinking about what type of mods you'd like to eventually own.
Mechanical mods, telescoping, variable voltage, variable wattage, kicked or unkicked with low resistance heads?O

OR you can stop where your at. Just stop. Just stop and vape and be healthy and happy.
Its all up to you. But what you need, you essentially have.
You need 2-3 or 4 eGos or Mods, some clearomizers, charger, and some juice.

This is strangely logical advice.

Thank you all for the great advice. I have some shopping to do lol. Unfortunately the store that is about 30 minutes from me is over priced so I will be ordering on line. Is there a particular vendor that carries a lot if these items. More like a one stop shop to help me save on shipping?

I have over 20 mods including egos, 6 battery chargers, 100's of cartos, about a gal of nic juice in the freezer, 2 gals of VG, tons of flavoring, probably a dozen tanks, 4 RBA knockoffs, enough juice made to last a month (DIY) and at least 6 of each battery size that I need. I have backups for backups. :D

No, you have backups for backups for backups for backups. (Me, too) :)

It all depends on what you are looking for. I was lucky enough to find one store the other day that had all three things that I wanted to buy -- Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette | myvaporstore. What exactly do you want to buy right now?
