in here somewhere USA
Ice;

Thanks for asking this, I too have been wondering.

Thanks to everyone letting us know. Sounds like a total blast! I know we have 2 shops here somewhere, one of which may not have a store front, but I have yet to see anyone vaping. Maybe I will get the courage to go to the store front shop and start asking around about a meet. :)

Have you looked in here (ECF) to see if there is already a group for your area ??? (Somewhere?)

Jennie post something on one of the existing threads on your local forum and see if you can get some action going, I know our forum went kind of dead between meets but once you get people talking, they will get going.

Thank you Lisa, I may just do that! I joined a Jeep club and kind of took over as "official unofficial social director" for them! LOL

Pokey,get a 901 atty to test stuff.Ive never been to a vape meet.We need one in Key West.

Hi, I'm curious, why is a 901 atty better for testing? I've only used 510's, but I've recently ordered a Precise that comes with a 510 to 901 adapter. I don't try many juices because of the hassle and expense of using a new atty every time I get something different. Thanks.

Well sometimes it just takes someone to take the lead. People were kind of waiting for someone to get this second meet started so finally I just booked it, then everyone was on board. I am disabled and home all the time so I could do a lot of e-mailing vendors and getting things organized with a few other members and we are going to have a very successful meet this week-end and can't wait to see everyone. We do free drawings at ours from donated items that vendors send us and we make sure they get their recognition and maybe some new business.

You don't need a new atty for every flavor, if you are dripping just let it go til time to drip, drip new flavor, about 2 or 3 drip cycles and you should get a true flavor. The only time it doesn't work is with a really strong flavor like atomic cinnacide or something like that will stick to the atty.

I have 808 threads on most of my PVs and a 901 atty has the same threads as they do...it's the only atty, that I am aware of, that will fit on an 808 without an adapter :) However, a 306 fits on the 510 connection, no adapter needed.

I have read that you can drip unflavored juice in between testing flavors to help clear the atty (not cinnamons or menthols, though). And some of the vendors are selling a atty-clearing juice. If I can remember where I saw that, I'll post it...but CRS has gotten a hold of me (again) this morning!

When I am testing juices at home, I usually just rinse it under hot water, blow it out, and keep going. It's worked well enough for me. A few stronger juice flavors I have added a quick Everclear rinse/soak to help get rid of any residual flavor. I am not an atty expert by any means, but the flavors are easy enough to taste/ vape to see if they are worth filling up a carto with or not!

Hi, thanks for answering. I'd love to know where to find the atty clearing juice.

I just use a couple of drops of plain vg from walmart. I haven't seen this other clearing juice it sounds good.

Promise to post back when I remember where I saw it yesterday...not having any luck with that so far, today, and been trying so hard, too :( Sigh...

No worries, I found my juice of choice a while ago, so I'm good. It took a while, but since I discovered house extracted tobacco from Vaperite, I haven't looked back.
