Regarding reo - I have used a reo for the last 4 years plus ! Worked like a charm with my cartos and never had problems with them. However, do to some bad luck my reo collection of 1 vv reo, 2 mech reos is now done to 1 mech reo which is about 5 years old. One thing I don't like about them is not being able to tune in the voltage/wattage. I would die for a juice feeder that has a good vv/vw component to it...

Have you used Reo + RM2, BF Igo or Cyclone? Reo + rda is NOT the same experience as Reo + carto at all. This may be the difference you are looking for from all of the details you have described....

All you have to do is learn to set up a Genesis atomiser properly.
Properly means to leaking, no need to tilt, and minimal, if any, darkening of the juice.
You get all of the flavor of dripping, and qith the right setup, 80% of the vapor that a Patriot wrapped to .4 would put out.
Or a Spheroid if you need a smaller stealth vape.
I have tried most of whats out there, when it comes to attys.
Keep going back to the Gennys.

Come on man, a bottom feeder is what RDA lovers use all day, every day. It's a no brainer. :D

No way a Kayfun, carto-tank, or clearomizer is gonna outdo an RDA. You already have the answer to your own question by owning a Reo. Why compromise?

Order the new repair kit for your old Reo. $25

If you're uncomfortable installing it yourself, send it in to Rob and he'll take care of you super cheap and have that Reo working like brand new. If you send it in to him, might as well request him to mill down the original catch cup to an LP for $20. That will open you up to a whole plethora of RDA's. (RM4, RM5, Zenith, Cyclone AFC, Origen V2, etc etc)

You can use a Kick 2 + 18490 in your metal Reo if you're really desiring regulation.

If you don't mind forking over money, and HAVE to have something new, look into the Sunbox E7. It's an all metal, Italian made bottom feeder that uses a DNA30. I just refuse to spend north of $300 on any mod, which the E7 is something over $350, but it looks to be quite the nice device indeed, there's absolutely no denying that.

What's wrong with a simple carto tank when out & about?

Nothing major. It's all subjective.

In my own personal opinion, I think that they are absolutely anemic compared to an RDA on every front. Flavor, vapor, throat hit, nicotine delivery with each it, every which way I can think of. Plus, in the summer, going from air conditioned to sweltering outdoors is gurgle/leak city.

Bottom fed RDAs are wonderful for out and about, especially for "RDA lovers." Why compromise when you don't have to? Or change formats unless you want to? :D

Cheers

I have about every device known to man, but if I'm going to be on the go for more than a couple of hours the carto tank wins out every time.

Flavor and hassle is what's "wrong" in my opinion. That's why I got rid of the Billet Box, loved the design and idea, can't stand messing with cartos and the almost null flavor. I love juice, not spending $22 for something I can't even taste.

I drip a lot at the house and use Genesis tanks on the go.
Been through every kayfun style there is.
I also find that carto tanks are still great.
Don't know what on earth could be complex or hassling about them, and with my bayou tank they give great long lasting flavor for those times I don't want to carry something nicer.
I'm to the point where I really don't care about the vape gear, just about the results....

Punching cartos and pushing them through a slot without spilling juice everywhere, I find hassling. Sorry, just my opinion. I have been vaping since all that was out there was cartridges and cartos and I'm so thankful we have moved way ahead.

Buy them prepunched, and as far filling, just...
Nevermind.
I have a feeling that this is doing nothing

I use a Kayfun, but find myself a little less satisfied with it every day. Got a Pontus on order. I'm hoping it will be perfect, because I really don't want to have to carry an ugly square lump of a device around. If the Pontus on my stingray x clone in hybrid mode doesn't solve my problems I guess I'll have to become a Reonaut, and try to look at it as little as possible.
