Hi! What do you call the battery thingy that can charge a handful of 808s all at once? I'm just not googling the right thing!

I showed my Day my ever growing vaping collection he want's to try vaping too! But he want's it to "look like a cigarette, taste like a cigarette, and the battery should last!" Ha!! I'm getting him a handful of Volt's for Fathersday and I don't think he has a handful of USB ports :) so...I thought if I made it easy and got him a charging "thingy" he would use them more often.

Thanks!

Another thing to note.....
Volt chargers are 5V vs 4.2 that most other KR808 chargers are.

When I was using 808's I had one Volt battery and found it would charge in my PCC (4.6V) or a 4.5V Kanger charger I had, but it would not fully charge with my 4.2V 808 chargers.

The safest bet would be to get any charging solution from Smokeless Image if that is where you are buying batteries.
One of their PCC's would be an easier option than buying a bunch of chargers. With those you can charge a bat faster than you can use one up.

(edit) Looks like Sailorman beat me to the punch..... :)

@sailorman - Thought I'd get the 78mm ones. They don't say what mah they are but I know it isn't much. He doesn't want anything big and he doesn't want to push a button so I thought...six? I'm trying to keep this as simple as possible :)

I'll also get a USB chargers for the car... I just want him to be able to walk out of the house and not have to think about it. He tried this a few years ago and found the whole thing annoying.

Good point about the 5V charger.
That mega case is sweet. It also holds like 4 cartridges.
With a 380mah battery it would be easy to rotate them in and out of the case and never be caught with dead one.
He can just keep the case connected to one port and take it off whenever he wanted.
He should get 4 charges off the built-in battery. That's a full day if he's not near his computer.

Those 78mm "mega" batteries are 380mah. That's huge capacity for a mini. Each one should last him a good 3 hours at least. Six would be kind of overkill, IMO. That's how many little 180mah 510 Joye batteries I needed when I started. And I smoked 3 packs a day.
I'd say 3 or maybe 4 would be plenty. Even if he just rotated them, that's 1520mah altogether.

The thing about the Case is that he can just walk out of the house with it like a pack of smokes. It holds 2 batteries and 4 cartridges. One is charging at any one time. If he had on in his hand and two in the case, he'd be set for at least a day before he needed to charge the case back up.

I'd get an adapter to use in the car for the case. You can charge the case and the battery inside at the same time. He'd just plug the case, with a couple volt megas in it, into the car adapter.
It doesn't get any simpler than that.

The other thing is, if he has limited numbers of ports, he'd only be able to charge a certain number of them anyway because of the current draw on the USB.

I say get the case. It keeps everything together and he won't have to keep track of a bunch of chargers and loose batteries. One of the kits includes the mega case and adapters for the wall and maybe the car. Then he won't have to use a USB port at all. Get that and one or two extra batteries and he'll be set. Spend the extra money on cartridges.

ok, if I get the 1 battery starter kit and the 2 battery starter kit I would have three batteries, two USB chargers, one wall plug, and two each of the tobacco flavored carts. If I got the mega case he could be charging the third battery. So if I got one more battery, that's four total, he could be vaping that and probably have one ready to go And have the case to take with him...sheesh!

edit: and a car charger :)
