I ordered a bunch of juice from MBV and it isn't here yet, should be here tomorrow. I have been having a hard time falling asleep so decided to go get a lower mg juice from the local shop to see if it helped. It is 11mg and the stuff that I have that I think is too high is 18mg. My order is for 150ml of various flavors with 24 to 36mg each bottle. I have been using what I got and do feel better using it. With the 18mg I was having a hard time falling asleep, but also my heart was pounding at times. Now what can I do if it ends up being that 24mg is too much. That is a lot of juice to waste!

Edited to add: I thought I would need a higher mg nicotine since I am just starting to vape. I am a marlboro menthol light 100 smoker usually if that helps.

Hi, how many packs a day did/do you smoke? Most smokers have built up a tolerance to the drug, which generally protects them from overdosing as easily as someone who never smoked.

I smoked 2+ PPD of Camel full flavor 99's. I started at 24 mg and that was a trade off for me. If you are having difficulty sleeping at night, try some camomile tea before bed. The higher nic juice is probably going to be a little too much. There is also the possibility of nic overdose which will make you nauseous and sick. If you can, go get some VG and cut it down to tolerable levels. Not sure how to compute the ratio but there are some posts describing how to do it. I'll have to bump that one along.....

Thank you, I would appreciate that.

Naw, The menthol lights wouldn't have as much nic as regular, Seeing as my old cigs had 1.1 and those were Marb reds. thats around 11mg so we will just say 12, I used to vape 18 and had the same problem with not being able to sleep. i bumped my usual 18 to 12 and i'm still satisfied with the vape an nic content so im keeping it that way. Takes a few more puffs to get there but i'm satisfied no matter so Im happy.

You can always dilute it Im not sure how but Someone should know what to do and they can help as soon as they read this.

I believe that it takes your body and brain a little while to get use to how vaping affects your body. Personally I noticed that when I first started vaping I was having a little more trouble falling asleep at night. I am using 24mg and I was smoking close to a pack a day when I picked up vaping. Good luck with cutting your juice down.

Diluting the nic will dilute the flavor. But, your safer, healthier, and this is a cheaper solution than throwing them away. You can better stand the slight taste reduction than major wallet contents reduction. :)

You can also order a menthol flavor and try adding a little of that. But, that opens up whole new world/hobby/habit - DIY. I love it.

Another thing, VG is thick. You might order some unflavored 0% nic 50/50 vg/pg at the same time to use as your dilution liquid.

I get mine from Wizard Labs. They are in Florida so shipping should be quick.

PM me and I will compute the mixing (dilution) ratios for you...

You can buy the same flavor in lower nic and then mix the 2 bottles together.... Like buy a bottle of 6mg nic and add the bottle of 24mg and now you have a double bottle of 15mg nic. You can go lower with 0 mg and 24... Making it 12mg. Don't throw it away.

+1. I do this a lot when the mg I wan't isn't available. You can even try your hand a mixing a different flavors (in small batches) and see what you come up with.

I agree with Elizabeth. In fact, I order all my juices from MBV and over the past 2 years I have slowly been cutting down my nic level by 3mg every few months. Since I could not buy the juices at the nic levels I wanted I would buy one bottle at say 24mg and one bottle at 18mg and mix the two together to get 21mg (which is not available through vendors). That would be the easiest and best way to lower your nic level and maintain the flavoring. If you just add PG or VG to cut it down your flavoring will be weak.

MBV also sells big bottles of unflavored in the PG/VG mix you choose, at whatever nic strength you want, even zero if you want to keep the PG/VG ratio the same. It will lesson the flavor some. I got some because a couple of the flavors I bought in bulk became to strong for me, so I cut it back, but got the unflavored in my usual 18mg. Also doubles the amount of juice I have now lol. It worked for cutting back the flavor, and will in the nicotine level too.

If you don't mind cutting the flavor.

Tractor Supply (or Amazon, Mt Baker, others) carries PG in the animal medicine section (added to cattle feed for some reason). It's like $20 gallon which will last you years.
Walmart for VG in front of the pharmacy next to the rubbing alcohol. $3.59 for 6 oz. It's also at CVS back with the beauty aides or something.

Mix up whatever ratio you need and you've got 0mg unflavored juice to add to yours.

I used to always order my juices with extra flavor shots and higher nic levels, then cut it to lower the cost. Now I just vape unflavored with 7-9mg nic.

I have tried mixing in the tank, can't say it really worked very well lol. With you needing to mix the nic down, I would be worried about getting random strengths through out the tank. I could be wrong though. And don't sweat the extra expense, you just increased your juice amount and you should be set for awhile lol. Plus, you can say you DIY juice now :p

Yes, what Elizabeth recommended will be your best best. Mix one bottle of 0 mg. Nicotine with the bottle of 24 mg. nicotine and you'll wind up with a 12 mg. mix. Just make sure the flavor is the same as the 24 mg. bottle. You can pour them both into a pyrex measuring cup and mix well then refill the bottles they came in. Give them a few good shakes also. As long as you're using flavored juice to dilute you won't dilute the flavor, just the nicotine.

So simple! Why didn't I think of that? That would be perfect to use the same bottles :)
