What do you find crazy about vaping?

For me it is the moment when you need a pen to sign something at a counter and you are staring at the pen they are holding but they are not handing it to you.... and you are just staring back and forth until they say isn't that pen?

I've never had that happen. I was in a bar the other night that is no smoking (you can still smoke in bars in Louisiana). Usually when I'm in a place that doesn't allow smoking I try and not be noticeable with my vapeing. But after a few drinks I sometimes forget. So a waitress comes over and looks at me and says "Excuse me, wait. Nope your good. I thought it was weird that I could smoke, but couldn't smell it. You can always smell when someone is smoking."

But, what gets me about it is the people who always say "I hope that thing doesn't blow up in your face!" To which I say "it's got the same type of battery as your cell phone, so it highly unlikely. Do you just read headlines or do you actually read articles before you just to conclusions?" The other is the people who come up to you and ask for a lighter. And when you tell them you don't have one, they look at you like you're crazy. Even the people who know I don't smoke anymore.

What is really crazy is the complete lack of SMELL.

I was chiefing one in my car with the sun in the front window....and ....it LOOKS like cigarette smoke and behaves exactly the same; right down to the difference in the composition of the smoke that exits the mouth without being inhaled - you ALL know exactly what I mean. No reek at all.

Completely amazing.

That's a trip. I never had anyone say they could smell anything. I rip it up in my office all day with different flavors - clouds, really.
No one says nothing!

Perhaps everyone is used to me smelling like an ashtray that all other smells go unnoticed. I hated being the only smoker in the bunch.

It's crazy how fun it is to vape compared to smoking. The batteries and the PV's are interesting and come in pretty colors. The juices come in all kinds of flavors and strengths. There are pretty tanks and practical tanks and cartos and on and on.

I've become manic about stalking the mail(wo)man... waiting for vapemail. When I get the "package shipped" notice, I start checking the tracking progress, until I see that blessed "out for delivery". Then I'm like a kid at Christmas... anxiously waiting for the Santa mailman to arrive...

Must always have vapemail coming! All the time now! Got to have it! Crazy!!!! Right???? 8-o

With me it's the flavors. I get in a bunch of new flavors and I immediately start craving something I didn't order. Then I get fixated on that one flavor I don't have. Ack, it never ends!

Everybody always assumes that I am holding a pen, so - Imagine, I totally get that.

The craziest thing for me is that the health issues are even being questioned compared to cigarettes... It boggles my mind to think that grown people with access to information actually believe that e cigarettes can be MORE HARMFUL than cigarettes.

It really gets me.

Other than that - I was once at a bar & here in Iceland it has been illegal to smoke in bars for many years & there was a bouncer who came up to me & told me to go outside ( like oh-so-many bouncers over the last year ) and so I give him the little speech about how it's just vapor & not smoke & he was like "Okay, but if someone were to take a picture, it would be assumed that you were smoking" & I was like... eh ? So ? "Hey, I'ma smoke in this bar ! YES I CAN ! I HAVE PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE !"

Shut the .... up, bouncer man & breathe this clean air. Idiot.

I find it crazy that I can walk down the grocery isle at the local Walmart vaping away until someone stops me and says "You can't smoke in here!", to which I reply..."What Smoke?" Then they proceed to sniff the air and point at my Volt as I walk away. It has never gone any farther than that!

I also find it kinda strange that I need to have my car a/c on warm when vaping in cold weather so that the car windows don't steam up!

Hmmm.......I think you need to decrease your nic levels just a tad bit.....or check with your doctor and have those meds re-evaluated! LOL!

What's crazy is that I've only been vaping with SI products for about a month and already I've bought two packs of CE3s, two 30 ml e-juices, two batteries (one I got free from the wonderful freebies thread =D), and I'm already anticipating my income tax return so I can buy a spinner and more juices...when people said it was like a hobby I had no idea how ridiculously fun it would be to mess around with a vape...so great.

My favorite part outside of that is being able to chief a few vapes while at work here and there and no one ever notices a thing, whereas before I always worried about how much I stank of cigarette smoke...Love vaping.

+1. I've not seen one other person vaping when I'm out and about. Now, I've had plenty of looooooong stares from policemen when I'm driving and vaping. So far, none of them have stopped me to check out the strange black "cigarette" thing (Spinner & T3). Truth be told, I'd welcome the opportunity to do a little educating.

A few crazies-
Vaping up a storm in a non-smoking house full of people who didn't like my smoking habit at all.
Realizing I rarely have to dust my desk anymore, or windex my monitors at all.
Hearing non-smokers say "wow that smells good!"

You ever lit the wrong end of a cig b/c it was dark? Never happens anymore. Well, at least it doesn't waste anything if you do!

I never see anyone vaping...The weirdest thing happened last week though. I went to the ski mountain near my house with a college buddy and some random guy hopped on the lift with us and started toking out of a Blu.
