Just got my 402 PCC yesterday. So far I love this thing. Really handy to haul around with me all day. Only one problem, it only holds four spare carts plus one on the cig. I'm a little concerned that if I'm out and about for more than a few hours I'm going to run out. I seem to be using this thing as a pacifier at the moment just trying to stay away from analogs.

I'm trying to think of a similar type case (doesn't need to be as tall) to hold another 6 or so carts. Just wondering what other people have come up with.

Thanks all

In an ten hour day at work I can easily go through 8 to 10 carts. Lots of days I'm there for 12+ hours. Should explain why I've found it so hard to quit. It can get a bit stressful some days. I used to go for a smoke at least every 30 to 45 minutes. Now with this thing I can almost continuously vap at my desk. Combine either smoking or vapping with three to four pots of coffee a day and its a wonder I can actually sleep at night.

You might ask what I do. Well I'm in IT. One of two guys supporting 500 PC, 30 or so servers, writing point of sale programs, reports, web site design and just general information (people tend to forget that the Information in IT doesn't mean we know everything).

Sorry I'm rambling. Just drinking to much coffee tonight.

Glad to hear you've taken to your PV well.
To address your concern....with my limited experience, I find that carrying my supplies has become part of the challenge of adapting to e-cigs. While my first experience with my 510 was so profound it totally eradicated my 20 year smoke habit, I initially found it cumbersome to carry numerous bottles, carts, batts, chargers, juices..etc. Yet, only after about a few days of adjustment, I accepted that, in order for me to have my supplies at a time of need, I must keep them on hand. Im also an IT professional with a wide background in various IT fields, and I know the urgency that comes along after dealing with every issue under the sun where you just HAVE to have that nicotine in order to avoid Defcon-3 (ie ..........). So what I did was take one of my many Tool carry kits that is about 5" x 8", removed my PC repair tools, and made a new home for my entourage. Inside I can carry a few bottle of liquid, some empty carts, along with both my 510 batts and my eGo. Theres even a little room left for a charger if I really felt like I needed to have it. The only thing about my method is that it doesnt provide for constant charging or reliability in the even of no power source. Battery life was my main antagonist until I got the eGo. So now I can vape essentially all day everywhere, and all I'll carry around is compact rectangular black leather satchel the size of a Date Planner. I hope my input helps somewhat....I would also suggest you look at some USB Passthrough models....for extended periods of working in front of a PC, a USB passthrough will eliminate battery issues all together. Lastly, the refilling and toting of carts can be avoided by adopting a direct drip method. In that fashion you simply drip 2 or 3 drops in the atty itself and enjoy 4-6 nice vapes until you may need to drip a few more. All you'd need is your juice and an empty (no batting) cart. Hope I was able to help....

Stay motivated and Good Luck.

look out for the ID 10 T on the Job ;)

I purchased a small travel size Johnson & Johnson first aid kit from Walgreens for ~$2. It's just small enough to fit in my shirt pocket but large enough to hold 5 carts, 2 10ml bottles, 2 3ml bottles, 2 extra batteries (incase the battery in my mod dies) an extra atty and tweezers.

Also, I second what Lucid Monk said about the passthrough. It's probably the #1 accessory to have for a PV.

Thanks for the converted IT tool box. I've got an old case here from Radio Shack (my parents bought it when I started this job 10 years ago). I've never carried it because the tools in it suck but what do you expect for $10.00. I'd forgotten about it until now. I'm sure I can fit everything I need in there and with the PCC that I got with my 402 I'll be all set.

Originally I was thinking of some sort of hard case that I could mod with some very firm foam to hold extra carts up right so they don't leak and maybe a spot for a small 3 to 10ml bottle or two.

Thanks again for the suggestions. Its these little things that the newbies need to know beyond just getting a starter kit.

I just started a thread asking about leaking ecigs. I drip also. When I go somewhere I take 3-4 510 with me and a bottle of eliquid. Anything I put the ecigs in they will leak and get all over the container. What can I put them in so they want leak. The leaking is come out of the atomizer.

From my understanding, Martha, your e-cig shouldn't be leaking in that manner. Considering you are using 510's, its my experience that they dont leak hardly at all. Depending on your method of juice delivery (drip vs cart w/batting) you should ensure that you arent flooding the unit. If there is an excess of liquid, you are sure to get leaks and drips...not to mention the risk of messing up ur atty. So my advice would be to make sure you arent over loading the carts or dripping too much before u store your 510's. ALso consider some of the newer Models of e-cigs. Personally, I love the 510, but I would recommend the eGo. Hope this helps....
