My husband and I will be celebrating 4 weeks of vaping tomorrow. We've already noticed some pretty big changes from when we were smoking cigarettes. Here's our list of things we feel good about, so far:

1. Our house smells better (okay, so now the litter boxes smell worse - see #5)
2. Food tastes better
3. Our ejuices taste better :)
4. We feel better - no more coughing and wheezing
5. We think our pets must feel better, too (4 dogs and 7 indoor cats)
6. We're saving money (despite my equipment and juice spending frenzy)
7. We don't have to worry we left something burning when we leave the house
8. In general, we're now supporting small businesses (some local), instead of big tobacco
9. We feel proud of ourselves and each other
10. We're no longer thinking "some day we'll quit smoking", we're doing it!

What about you?

I love the community- it's such a stark contrast to the 'solitary-intriguing-analog-smoker' image. When I first walked into a vape shop, I was simply desperate to kick a bad habit before going on to one of the most important periods of my life, and I walked out with a radically new perspective on the whole idea of vaping.

Like- wow, these people love this. Many of them have made the same life change I'm about to, in somewhat the same way. And boy, do they love to share it if they think it'll help.

I look forward to all the reasons you originally listed, once my journey continues a little longer- I've always wondered about all the smells and flavors I've missed out on. That, and I miss being the person people would run to for hugs because I always smelled good. cx

Best thing is I'm off tobacco cigarettes. First couple days were tough, all the psychological triggers were trying to pull me back to cigarettes, but I beat that by buying about 5 different flavors in the beginning to keep my mind off it. Now I can honestly say after about a month and a half, I'm done with tobacco cigarettes.

I can breathe better, no more coughing and shortness of breath.
The variety of flavors.
Cool gadgets.
Not smelling like smoke.
Saving money.

Preach it. I originally feared the start-up costs, but finally figured it was definitely worth the chunk of change to put off my procrastination and excuses.

Nobody's mentioned CLOUDS? ^_~

Also, to add yet another reason-

I don't have to worry about my exhalations driving people away like roaches before a giant wave of RoundUp.

That and I don't end up with blasted smoke in my eyes

Also if I drop my mod while driving I don't have to worry about setting my car on fire lol
