Should our community be seemingly obsessed with BIG CLOUDS of vapor?

I'm in this game for the nicotine, so long as my PV provides that, I'm calm, no nic fits, happy as a clam. After that a good flavor is a bonus for not smoking, with enough of a "big cloud" to know my battery isn't dead...:vapor:

I'm like you, Stosh. I want to have some flavor I can taste, enough nicotine to keep me off cigarettes, and a little vapor to fool myself. To each his own.:)

As with any "group" there are the extremist .... for example the Car Audio Power people.... they are running 1-10 thousand watts of base pumping energy and its enuf energy to blow out the windows of the cars.... seems that they forget just how loud it really is when they are sitting next to you at the red light turning your mild headache into a "the days ruined now" brain throbber.... there is a time and a place to do excessive things.... just be considerate..

OK, I'll admit it. When I'm home alone, I like to make big, giant, thick, opaque, heavy, bright white, hovering vapor clouds. As big as I can make them. If I can't see anything at all through them for a second or so, then I'm happy.

BUT - when I'm around others, I show respect by keeping my clouds much less intrusive by using shorter pulls and more gradual exhales. And when I'm away and in the company of strangers, I blow even less vapor. I don't want to give the haters more reasons to hate, so I keep my vapor cloud fascinations to myself.

I don't know why I seem hooked on cloud chasing when I'm alone. It could be worse, though - I could be hooked on cigarettes.

In response to the OP, I'll say it is all a matter of decorum. I tend to prefer 100% vg juice, because I'm not in this for a raspy throat. I prefer dual top coils and higher wattage for a warmer vape and seemingly better flavor (kangers just don't seem to do that for me).

When out and about I use 50/50 juice to reduce the clouds, and at home use anywhere from 80-100% vg.

The throat hit thing has fascinated me a bit, as it doesn't remind me of cigs as much as a warmer vape does.

I do know people that are pure cloud chasers, though. I know someone with a mech mod, winds his own coils to drip and uses 0 nic 100% vg. He likes the clouds, and I suspect he wants to "look cool" without having to smoke or take in any nic.

Time and place for everything, I suppose. As long as people aren't billowing clouds in public places where large groups of people congregate, no big deal. When they do it in stores/mall it becomes a problem for all of us (and makes us look bad by association).

There should be respect for others and I'm glad to see a lot of you saying that. I'm just afraid that some folks are making these sub-ohms and trying to chase clouds when they have no idea what they are doing.

As we move on in the evolution we are getting new vapers chasing clouds; buying an array of mods from china (all clones and cheap as chips) and then getting batteries for as little as possible and after watching a few youtube videos -- BOOM..look at my cloud.

Experienced vapers with a little knowledge will be fine, they know about batteries and how they should drain; they know about vent holes in mods and contacts that conduct electricity! However, the new breed doesn't have a clue and so far the last 3 weeks I've been told about:

3 exploding/venting batteries
one burned out charger and a damaged carpet
1 burnt thigh
numerous "i had to throw it outside"

Please guys and gals . . . if you don't know what you're doing -- DON'T DO IT!

I am with this. Just enough vape to make it feel like I am doing something. Otherwise I find it messy. I have nothing against huge plumes. I would find that fun, but only for a special occasion.
