What do you prefer? Regulated or unregulated devices?

I push about 45 watts out of my Reo Grand at .39 ohms. Thats factoring for the voltage drop being 3.8-3.9 volts all things considered. My stingray will hit harder, but I use that at home with a Caterpillar rda which honestly winds up being too messy for out and about. Certainly one of the messier drippers I've used, but a terrific vape. I was very happy with my Provari and RSST for quite a while, but I found dripper and mechanicals and finally my Reo and couldn't be happier.

Regulated. All the way. I want consistent vapor quality whether the battery is at 4.2V or 3.3V. And I want it variable because I want to vary it, not because the battery is running down.

I prefer regulated for the safety factor. I have 4 mechs but I have kicks in all of them. I bought them only because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. After the fact, I decided that I was not comfortable with them and bought the kicks. I am also not into sub-ohm vaping. Never interested me at all. I am quite happy to never go below 1.2ohm. I have 4 mechs because I can't seem to stop buying things!!!!

All mechs (unregulated) are variable voltage. The voltage drops constantly with use until the battery is changed out.

Love the simplicity and beauty of a mech with a great build, also enjoy the consistency of a 30 watt regulated Vape. I like all things vape. As long as it can be cranked up to 30 watts or better, that's what I prefer.

Own by far more mechs than I do regulated, well that's if you don't count the units that haven't been built yet, that is. lol

So far, regulated Evod eGo style batteries with a 1.8ohm coil. Easy and effective for me. I want a pipe the same way now.

I vape unregulated 99% of the time. I'm a bit of a tinkerer, so being able to freely access the battery with my builds is great. The dependability of mechanical mods and the excuse to pull out my DMM regularly are more pluses.

Yup, same here. I can set up my mech mod with whatever juice delivery device I want, at any power level I want, with whatever airflow I want, etc.

It's still a mech mod, but I suppose I could add a Kick to change that too

1.6ohms and higher, regulated. 1.5ohms or lower, mechanical. It's a matter of electricity.
