I have just ordered a RIVA 510 and noticed a comment about using it with a Little Gem Sidewinder. What does this do as it was not explained?

Hi amok and welcome. I too am in the dark....Never heard of a Little Gem Sidewinder. I can assure you tho, it does not have anything to do with the Riva 510 that you just ordered. Where was the comment?

ps. Well, I was wrong....here is a link to it from Liberty-flights in the UK. Basically what it is---it is for 6Volt vaping.....That is really strong.....Most like the 3.7 v batteries, which I think it what the Riva 510 is. so you are ok,,,,,unless you want 6 volts. 6 Volts should split ones head in half , I would think.

It appears to be a lot like the GG line,and indulgence, and designed to use multiple battery sizes. Simple mod that is a little versatile. So this will not work in conjunction with riva battery, just the riva attomiser, which is a 510.
Had a look at the link and still not clear as to what it does. Does it replace the atty and you put liquid it? I know I'm a thickie.
No It helps to crank it up not replace it. It will not work with the Riva 510 battery. You need a mod that uses the batteries listed and it cranks up the volume, so to speak. The Big Chief(poster above) listed some of them. Whole different animal than the Riva510.

Actually you should not put the LR atty that comes with the Riva onto a 6 volt battery - you would likely fry it. High voltage batteries generally need standard and high voltage attys. Standard is like an LR for a high voltage battery, and an HV atty is like a standard for a high voltage battery.

The Little Gem Sidewinder is a UK sold and manufactured flashlight battery mod. Nothing particularly special about it but the fact it comes with a few adapters to use different batteries.
Yes, mouse is correct. Those are set up to do 6v. You can use for 3.7, but it will depend on batteries you put in it. You will need to be sure your chosen atty will work with whatever batteries you use. using a LR atty on 6v would fry instantly I assume.
