What does the little tiny pin in the switch do? Keep it from rotating?

I lost my rice pin on my Nemesis, I just used some pliers and nipped a piece off of a clothes hanger and it works perfectly fine. Any tiny cylindrical object will work, you might have to be a little creative.
Roflwaffles had a great idea or a nip off a toothpick works well too. The little pin stops the button from rotating off and falling apart at the magnet point, some mods do not have a retaining post like the Big Nasty and it basically unscrews itself when you fire resulting in hot button every once in a while, not warm, more like "surprise" hot.

There are some smart folks on ECF... here I am with a freakin toothpick!
I lost mine as well and did the toothpick trick and it works. Only problem I'm facing now is when I put it down it tips itself to a side and may accidentally fire as if it goes back down easier than before.
Anyone with this issue?
It's still firing only from one spot -__-' , when wrapping my hand like you normally vape it's hard to find the spot damn it

Tooth pick is not conductive. The pin contacts the two pieces and aids in carrying current.

Hm... Any idea where I can get one? Are there any replacement parts available somewhere?
Fatdaddy has nemesis pins which im pretty sure would likely work. Almost half way down the page in the MAGNETIC UPGRADES AND CONTACTS/Nemmy section, looks like 6 for $6.

I just tightened the switch as far is it goes and same thing happens. I just ordered a set of rice pins from fatdaddy's hopefully that will work and stop the mod from tilting so drastically as it does now.
Also, any tips on how to remove the magnets?
Anyone know where to buy a replacement or fix for a broken stingray button?

Remove the magnets? They're what keeps the mod from firing constantly. Or are you planning on getting replacements? On the clones I've seen (never saw original) the magnets are held in with a bit of glue.

Glue............Akkkkkk All of mine are free floating.
Separate the button from the switch and the top magnet will off the bottom of the threaded section.
Turn the button, cap up and tap the shaft on the counter and the lower magnet should pop right out.
If the magnets are stuck together, you did it wrong in the beginning.
Wobble with Magnets installed means one of three things.
1) Magnet strength to low(weak)
2) Magnet gap at rest is to wide
3) switch machining to sloppy
2 is an easy fix. Place a washer under the button side magnet to move it closer to the upper magnet. I use a nylon washer 1mm thick in one of mine.

That's actually good to hear. I know I just looked at the mod wondering why they'd be glued but both I saw were that way. But both also came from a local B&M that seems clueless and overpriced. Perhaps they "repaired" them that way.
