Luckily your issue is actually the other way around. Most 510 tips will fit the Subtank, almost all of Aspire's stock tips will not fit other brands. They're almost always a hair too big at the base before the o ring. For example, the Subtank's drip tip will fit the Atlantis v1, but the Atlantis v1's drip tip will not fit the Subtank. Almost any after market drip tip will fit either.

Greetings, my stock drip tip gets warm, I tried a Aspire nautilus tip but it did not seem to fit.

What is compatible? I think the stock one is to short and gets to warm.

Any alternatives?
I use the old Nova soft tips. They fit great, work great, stay cool, comfortable on the lips and IMO look nice. These are cheap and were my favorite before sub ohm was out. Started using them 2 weeks ago.

Thanks so much! I ended up having a non-Aspire tank laying around which I never used (came as part of a kit) which had a useable drip tip on it.

    Thanks again,

Can't quote but Ashes, the stock tips are fine IMO. I've got subtanks in all sizes. If any are somewhat problematic, I find the Nano a little short but I use the included tips on my subtanks 90% of the time. Don't worry about it. If you don't find them comfortable it's an easy switch.

FWIW I don't think "normal" 510 tips (like those really meant for a plain old 510 dripping atty) work that great on the subtanks because a lot of them seem to draw juice right into your mouth. Personally I use bent or swivel tips, or otherwise those that are wide and straight like the stock tips.

Are the parts that come with it not satisfactory, other than sub ohm, in other words stabdar use? (Noob graduating from generic starter ego to kanger subox mini)
Noooo, In fact compared to the standard subtank mini which was stainless steel and would get gunk all over them, the new black and white kits come with derlin drip tips and are way better, I see no need to change them at all..
