Depends what you're looking for.. tobacco? Fruit? Coffee-ish? I started with tobacco flavors, thinking I would never go for the fruits, but I have to say,, with all the yummy flavors out there,, tobacco has become my LEAST favorite. I highly recommend Highbrow Vapors Tiramisu,, smooth, slightly nutty, bit of chocolate. If you like something with a little more OOOOMPH... try The Vapor Room Keoke Coffee... good dark strong coffee flavor. Both of those suppliers are excellent,, great customer service and seriously fast shipping.. you wouldn't be disappointed with either of those. Happy shopping!

That is a very difficult question . Taste is very subjective.

If you have recently started e-cigs and where a smoker I would suggest that you play it safe with a tobacco taste similar to the brand of cigarettes that you used to smoke , but try out others also (you might really like them).

Other than that , go for flavours that you personally like .

The key is to experiment and try things out.

Purchase in different flavours in small quantities until you find what pleases you.

Find a vendor that sells sampler packs and try ANYTHING that tickles your fancy as a possible flavour you 'may' like to vape.

There really isn't any way to advise this to someone else as their own favorites will be very subjective. AND, you tastes are going to be flip flopping for a while where you'll may find the ones you first hated will become your next all day vape.

I found menthol or minty flavours the best thing to start off with. That's if you like that sort of thing. They usually have a strong flavour that you can actually taste. After being a smoker for 25 years I found most fruit and drink flavours where very week, but that was because my taste buds where destroyed from years of tobacco use. They came back in a few weeks and I was able to appreciate the more subtle fruit flavours. One last thing. I like watermelon but I can't stand gum that is flavoured watermelon. This also translated to e-liquid. I don't like watermelon e-liquid as it just tastes fake.

That being said I agree with the other posts. Try and get samplers of a bunch of different flavours that you think you might like. What ever you do don't try and get a tobacco that tastes just like Brand-X cigarette. It just doesn't exist. Yes there are a lot of good tobacco flavours but because your not burning a leaf it just doesn't compare.

Welcome to ECF and to the wide and varied world of vaping.

Absolutely agree with this comment 1000%. Please ... do NOT buy yourself 30 ml bottles until you find flavors you like! It just ain't worth it.

I just recently started vaping. Last week I ordered 2 sets (10) samples from FlavourCrafters and my plan is to try samples from a couple of other sources. I got a couple of tobacco based ones, a few fruits, a few sweets just to get an idea and I'll repeat the same process at my next 2 targets. We're 0 nic here.

Since taste is so subjective, I figure by doing this it may help me gauge vendors/flavours I may like or not based on others having similar opinions as I do about what I have tried already.

My 2 cents (plus shipping) :)

Best advice of the thread right here. Its a great way to try many different flavours and potentially lock into what type of flavours you like.

Golden information!

So true. Plus try different vendors. I have about $200 with of juice that I will never use.

i have given away easily 1000's of ml's of juice since i started vaping, just trying to find what i like. i just gave away 200mls tonight, to another new vapor... the worst part is im pretty sure that is the second time i tried those flavors from that vendor, and given them away, moral of the story KEEP A LIST.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

I too figured I'd go for tobacco flavours and wound up lovin the sweet, flavourful fruits and candies etc. Coffee and caramels are awesome and one of the richer, sweeter tobacco blends really worked well. +1 the suggestion to nab some strong flavours like menthols etc. I am just emerging from the dreaded dead mouth syndrome and wish I had gotten something strong for that death valley experience. I just got in a flavour from Tasty Vapes called "Cough Drop" that a very helpful feller recommended to someone else and that was what appears to have snapped my taste-buddies out of their somnolence. Like someone took a Eucalyptus tree and smacked you upside the head with it! It worked for me.

Cheers on your voyage on the vapour train! :toast:

There's also a PIF (pay it forward) forum on ECF where people advertise the juices they didn't care for and strike a deal for money or a swap with someone who has what they want. If you do get stuck with juices you don't like, try PIF. Many people describe them as almost full, with only enough missing to fill a carto or something of that nature.

Buying samples is a good way to try a lot of juices for not so much money. Usually a sampler assortment will have half a dozen 3ml or 5ml bottles in it and they are generally of a certain group, like tobacco, fruit, candy, etc.

Good advice, as soon as i started i made a notepad of my thoughts of the flavors ive tried. That soon evolved into a complicated spread sheet.

to the op, I have to recommend jugheads for samples, they have lots of different flavors, and have sample sizes for 2 and 3 bucks. They do a draw every month to win stuff. I'm only a couple months in, and ive really liked menthol and minty vapes. The cool throat hit they give is nice. Of course, its more economical to order juice from wherever you're getting hardware, so just try a bunch of different thing if you can, best way to find what you like.

Definetly try a few diffrent vendors and brands. My first couple of orders were terrible flavours not very good It made me wonder if this is as good as it gets and allmost made me go back to analogs. Now I got a good stock of juice I love and its makeing a huge diffrence in my craveings.
