So here's the deal: I'm just getting started back vaping and don't know enough to know what I don't know.

I ordered this kit, and 120 mL of juice so far. (Assorted flavors, strengths, ratios, and suppliers for the juice)

I'd like to know what you guys might recommend I get next? Currently I smoke 1-2 packs of analogs per day, marlboro red 72's. I want to make sure I have enough juice on hand and order far enough in advance that I don't run out. Also want to make sure that I have spare parts so that I can replace stuff as it wears out/breaks.

My big fear is being caught without vaping supplies and turning back to analogs. That's what happened last time, couldn't keep up with my supplies so would go back to analogs to get me through. That turned into full time smoking analogs again. Having decided to take this plunge again, I want to make sure I'm not caught with my pants down again.

Thanks for your help!

Those two clearos aren't going to last you very long. Start looking into what's out there in terms of atomizers.

I've been pleased with the CE4s that come with that kit, but your mileage may vary.

A lot of people like the Kanger T3s. I haven't tried them yet (got some coming in the mail), but they're supposedly quite nice (though not without their problems).

As far as clearos go, the Vivi Novas are also worth looking into.

Otherwise there are carto tanks which I don't know much about, and if you're feeling adventurous, rebuildables.

Could someone clarify for me the difference between clearo, carto, and tanks? Also, what should I be looking for in an atomizer? I know this stuff is elementary but have tried the search here and it tends to create more questions than answers

If it were me (and I wish I had ordered more at the beginning) I would add a few more clearomizers. I prefer T3s to anything I've tried so far. I just got a carto tank today and haven't really had enough time with it to make a true judgement but it seems that I'll end up sticking with T3s because they're just easy to use and hold enough juice to get me through a day. I really don't like refilling regular cartos but the tank seems like it could work if I need it to. Haven't tried Vivi Novas yet but I will very soon.

120ml of juice is a good start since it seems that shipping takes forever when you're running low and waiting on some more to show up.

Good luck with your switch. I'm 3 weeks off cigs as of today.

In very simple terms:
Clearo - tank with atomizer and wicks
Carto - atomizer with filler material (looks similar to what a cig filter would)
Carto tank - tank surrounding a cartomizer. Holes in the carto allow the liquid to soak into the carto from the tank. Same concept as a regular carto but has a tank to hold juice.

OK so looking at what I bought, are the ones you mentioned compatible with it? I keep hearing that the Kangers are good but do they fit? Also, how can I determine what will/won't fit? I really appreciate the help, but need to learn to fish rather than asking you guys for fish

Thanks!

A picture dictionary of juice deliver devices:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...minology-carto-tank-what-lol.html#post7562212

An ideal beginner setup:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/369128-what-kit-start-3.html#post8309522

These are all 510 thread compatible. The atomizers (heating elements) in the T3 and mini nova tank are replaceable, so you don't have to purchase an entire new device, just replace with new atty heads from the vendor you purchase the original device. Figure on using each head for 3-4 weeks before they need replacement.

So which do you use or recommend? Is there one type that's easier to live with? For now, I want as little "fiddling around" with it as possible. Don't want to be constantly messing with it if I can help it, would like to make sure it's as good to go as possible. May get into more fiddling down the road

The T3s will fit without issue. With those batteries anything eGo/510 threaded should fit. And honestly, if you find something that looks nice but isn't eGo/510, there's probably an adapter out there to make it fit.

I have the Smokeless Image versions of the T3 that are 808 but I'm picking up some true Kangers to go on my eGo batts and probably some adapters so I can use any of the ones i have on any of my batteries.

My personal preference for now is the T3. I just really don't like cartos, regular or in a tank. With the T3, you unscrew the bottom section that contains the atomizer, put liquid in the tank, screw it back together and off you go. I don't like having to drip into the filler in a carto and not know how much I have in there. With the T3, you see exactly what's in the tank. The only thing to watch out for is getting juice in the air tube but once you see one, you will see that's not hard to avoid.

I've used regular cartos, started using a carto tank today, and still end up back with my T3 at the end of the day.

I have an eGo-C with a Mini Nova, the 2 mL lasts me all day. I used to smoke a pack a day, and I (currently) only vape about as often as I smoked. Hope that helps.

Ok I'm going to order a couple of those, but what parts do you need to go with it? They're listed as rebuildable, but what do you need to rebuild them?

I've heard a lot of good things about the mini nova so may have to give it a try. Which category are they in? A clearcartotankomizer?

I have to agree with the Kanger T3's I have vivi's, cartos. T2's and Ce3's I keep going back to the T3. I just orderd 6 more plus 4 replacement bottom coils from Discountvapers last night and they are already on their way...I think you will really like the T3 the flavor in my opion is much stronger than what I get from a Vivi. I use Ego-Twists and a ProVari love them on both! Welcome back to vaping :)

Pretty sure the Nova/mini Nova is technically a clearo. As for rebuilding the T3, you only really need wire to make a coil and wick material. I linked some videos earlier today in another thread showing how to rebuild T3s. I'll look for those again and post here when I find them. If I don't get to it fast enough you can check my posts and should see where I linked the vids. I don't have a ton of posts to dig through

Not really... but its close enough that he'll get the idea.
