And if you are going to get into RBAs, you'll need 32 ga & probably 30 ga Kanthal. Some 28 ga wouldn't hurt. 400 & 500 mesh. Some sylica for an rda, or maybe cotton, then again there's ceramic wicks (solid for the genesis' or XC-116 for wicks or genesis).

Small players and wire cutters, get the good ones. They'll last a lifetime, just don't cut your paperclips or coat hangers with them. They are made for small wires. Jewelers screwdrivers, i.e. small screwdrivers...Standard and Phillips heads.

I got my DMM at sears. Almost any digital multimeter will do. Fluke has been respected for years.

I think when your talking about newbie... I would just stick with the basics.. standard battery and 510 atty set-up until you get out of the initial phase of getting used to your juices and how vaping works best for you. Then. move on to any devices and delivery methods once you have established good habits to maintain your vape.

Best thing for tasting new flavors I'd say an RDA, rebuildable dripping atomizer; There is the igo-l, igo-s, pheonix, nimbus, clones.. there are so many to choose from. Or just get some disposable dripping atomizers. I am actually quite the newb myself and I am waiting on an order of like 3 RDAs from fast tech. They have them for as little as four bucks, so if I realize I don't like them its no big deal. A good investment if your going to go this route would be to get one of these Digital Cartomizer / Atomizer Resistance Tester (Ohm Meter) to check your ohms, or a simple multimeter works fine too.

My first setup was a mech mod and a z-atty clone a whole two weak ago and I broke the tank the second day I had it, but I realized I'm a tinkerer and enjoy the reward when I get it going just right. Now I'm on my second genesis and mech. Next for me is a oddy. I'm still waiting on my 450 mah ego set which is in the mail. Dont be intimidated by the rebuildables they're easy. I did purchase a shortstop fuse for my mechs though which I think would be a necessity for safety.

Op if ur interested in the z atty check out an aga t2 it is pretty much the same at a fraction of the cost y spend so much dough on an atty that u may not like. It is supposed to be superior build quality but for the price an aga will save u on the test if it is something u like then go forth and get a z atty IMO congrats on the quitting and welcome to ecf
