What exactly is a "Hybrid Mod"?

Newbie question of the day... What's a hybrid mod?

Its a mod that is all one device. The RDA is built right into the device and all you can do is add a drip tip to them.

On a hybrid setup, the atomizer body screws directly into the mod tube threading, and the atomizer's positive contact directly contacts the positive terminal of the battery. There is no 510/Ego connection. The advantage is less voltage drop and a more compact size.

Some mods come with a 510 top that you can screw on or you can screw some atties directly on to it. Kind of like the best of both worlds. Also some of the hybrid atties have bases with a 510 that you can screw on and use on any mod.
