I put several drops of Lagavulin 16 year scotch in some VG and vaped it once. Hey I love scotch.
Weird thing was.... it tasted like scotch.

I little too much flavor for vaping. I didn't expect it to work so well.

that could be a pretty expensive vape too! LOL....good scotch though!

for the OP......If you are/were a cigar smoker then want2vape has some cigar flavored juices that I'll bet would go great with scotch. I know they work nicely with my small batch Kentucky Bourbons anyway.

@h. wordsmythe - hmmm, guess you may have to sneak a bottle in. have you ever tried grants scotch? i like it better than chivas. i have never been a johnny walker fan and not much of a single malt person, however, i do like 'the balvenie'. btw, k-space told me that velvet vapors is carrying a 'buttered popcorn' juice. might be interesting.

I wish I could sneak a bottle in, but I think she'd notice the dent in the checking account. And the smell on my breath! Which, oddly enough, is the only thing she says she misses about me smoking - the smell of scotch and tobacco on my breath. Apparently she found it appealingly "manly". Too bad she didn't tell me that before I quit smoking, because I could have taken advantage of that!

I've never heard of Grants, actually, but I'll keep an eye open for it now. Chivas 12 has been my go-to for a while because it's the cheapest widely-available 12 year and I like it almost as much as JWBL. And I'm not really a single-malt person either - tried to be years ago but had to admit to myself that I like the taste of the blends more. Not that I'd turn down a free glass of Glenlivet 18, mind you!

Let us know if you try that buttered popcorn!

Liberty Flights' "Whisky" is a pretty good Scotch e-juice, somewhere between Cutty Sark and Johnny Walker Red. Very enjoyable, but for me, only after the sun is over the yardarm!

Very often when I'm sipping a single-malt Scotch neat, I'll have some chocolate chip cookies. Maybe a chocolate e-juice would fill the bill? Worth a try sometime.

i have looked thru various sites and hundreds of flavors, but so far nothing has caught my eye as being something that would go with a blended scotch.

i think something tart would be good - but it would be nice if it was tart and not sweet, as i often times will squeeze some lemon or lime in a scotch n soda. i looked at the keylime and the lemon - but most of them have the word 'pie' after them, which indicates they probably have a sweet undertone.

any suggestions?

also, is there an old time movie popcorn flavor offered anywhere?

You're putting WHAT in scotch?

Sorry, but I happen to LIKE the taste of scotch, anything but ice (only when you're not alone) does not belong in scotch, as you no doubt have had other real scotch drinkers tell you. (Alone you can pour yourself a tumbler full, without ice)

To each his own. I'd try pistachio, if anybody makes a flavor like that. Otherwise I like the good old Cigar flavor and sit and imagine I'm Denny Crane sitting out on the terrace talking with Alan Shore.

Behind you
I've never had anything but ice or stones in whisky so I can't comment on what would go well w/ a scotch'n'soda. However, with my various singles and blends I've enjoyed trying various chocolate/cookie liquids from Mrs. T's. I've also like a green apple liquid I had but I can't remember where that was from.

What I enjoy doing now is using the MoM bitters to flavor BWB Malty. They have quite a few and the fairly new Master Of Malt Cask Aged Whisky Bitters 1st Edition 5cl Bitters - Master of Malt which is just lovely. (MoM has been great to me over the past few years but I've never discussed this use with them.)

Be well, -Magnus

Well there is a sizable faction of scotch drinkers who insist that adding a little room-temperature water actually ENHANCES the flavor. Personally I think that's wacky, but maybe my taste buds just don't get it. In any case, however you can most enjoy it is the way you should drink it! For me that's neat or with a couple of cubes, but if lime and some soda float your boat...

I'm with you on the cigar flavor. I'm hoping to order some Want2Vape Acid Blondie juice before too much longer. I've only had one of the real (i.e., tobacco) Blondies, but I remember enjoying it quite a bit; all those Drew Estates cigars are interesting. An e-liquid version should go nicely with some whisky. I'd also like to find a scotch whisky (not whiskey) flavored juice. I remember seeing a post mentioning one, but I can't remember which vendor makes it.

Guess I should have re-read all the posts in the thread before I went on about not remembering which vendor has the whisky juice! Haha... I'll have to check that out.

Run of the mill blended Scotches need ice cubes and water or seltzer, in my book. Single-malts are a whole 'nother matter: those I drink neat in a Scotch snifter (like a brandy snifter but with a wider rim). Cask-strength single-barrel single-malts (they say so on the label and are always more than 80 proof) do seem to open up with a slight infusion of room-temperature water.

Just my experience. YMMV, of course.
