... what gives more vapor the 510 with usb passthrough or the janty stick V2 with 510 adapter?

the reason i ask is i have the automatic switch. i want a manual switch and a passthrough. both the items do this but the stick is like 50 quid and the passthough is like 15 quid. the stick is smaller and has a nice big button though.

any advise?

No and seems like my explanation wasn't clear.
One more time -

The maximum voltage JS can give to atty (any atty) is 4.2 volts, with USB charging cable it will be always 4.2. Without USB - 4.2 volts with the fresh battery down to cut of minimum voltage, that's when battery needs to recharge.

510 PV with the pathrough will have 5 volts all the time - more vapor all the time. And 510 PV without pathrough - will have same voltage behavior as JS without USB charging cable attached.

I hope it will be clear now.

510 with PT will give you more vapor then a JC simply because PT is 5 volts versus 4.2 volts through JS with usb cable attached (or 3.7 - 4.2 volts stand alone )
I get a better throat hit and better vapor from my 510 when I'm not using the PT.The standard 510 PT is powered by the same 10440 battery as the JS. You have to let the battery charge before you use it, and pretty frequently between vapes to maintain power.

Id have to dissagree there (not with the voltage statement facts and figures, but with the reality).
I have both pv's and passthrough. The stick gives a hell of a lot more vapour for me than the 510 on passthrough. imho
That's my experience, as well. The 510 on its standard PT isn't as good as a 510 on its non-USB battery, and not as good as a Stick.

I've been thinking about a PS passthrough for my 510 for better USB performance, and would like to hear about the improvement over the standard 510 PT from anyone who's upgraded from the standard 510 PT to Puresmoker's PT.

Oops, my bad.

I assumed that all PTs have the same design but found that 510 PT has a battery in line.

Based on that please disregard whatever I wrote in two previous posts.

Jeff and RamblingRose you're both correct (and I am wrong)

No worries Russ, i wouldn't have a clue about all the technical stuff. Appreciated though;)

Wonder how hard it would be to rig up a line around the battery so you could get 5v on the PT and just have the battery for use when it wasn't connected. Doesn't seem like it would be that tough to do....

Somewhere in the Modders forum there's a thread about it with instructions if I remember right.
