What gives with my coils? Bad tank possibly?

Ok, what gives with my tank? I have tried wrapping these coils, but can't get anything except the top to light up bright. So, I was watching psuardo's video and decided to wrap the coils and take the wick out and it is very dim. I made sure the extended wire was not touching anything else, but they are not getting red hot like in the video's, just dim. Furthermore with the wick in place, I can't get past the first hot spot and when I do everything is just very dim. I tried wrapping loser, tighter, etc. I tried lighting the metal with just a short run, maybe half an inch and it lit red hot, but when I have the whole wire connected it is just dim. Could this be a problem somewhere else? I am using an oxidized 400 SS wick, provari mini at 3.3V and that's about it. Any suggestions? Tomorrow, I will try to post some pictures. Unwrapping and rewrapping is probably going to make my wire snap, right? Not trying to weaken it and run out, I only bbought 2 feet of 32 gauge

2.1Ohms, I was hoping for lower, but if this will allow me to see what the hype is about, I guess I will fill her up with some juice and report back.
Edit: Kicked it up to 3.7, that's a little better with the time it's taking, still a little slow. I knew wrapping these coils, couldn't be too hard watching everyone and seeing how good the coils looked in comparison. I guess I just had one too many. Lets test this bad boy out.

Argh, something still isn't right. I get more vapor from my protank. I can barely taste the vapor and the draw sucks... Ahhh. Not sure what to do now. I guess I have to take the juice out, let the wick dry and see if the coils are still lighting up? Or start new coils all over? I noticed a hot leg at the top of the coil and screw, tried to unscrew it a little just in case it was too tight. Time for sleep. Will try again tomorrow. Not sure if this is what I am supposed to expect from it or not.

Not sure what kind of rba you are working with but make sure your air hole is in line with your wick and also a wider air hole will help with the draw, as for no flavor it takes a bit to break in the ss mesh wicks, on my did clone it takes about a tanks worth before i start getting flavor in a new wick

Sounds like you are using a VV PV. Mine heats up slowly also on a VV PV. Using a mechanical PV, it heats up very quickly. Flavor comes through very good on the second or third hit on a new coil/wick for me if the wick and wire were clean. When I mention mechanical PV's I also want to stress the use of safe/protected batteries and/or use of a 2 cent fuse.
