What goes bad on a Kanger T2?

I am down to 3 T2's and all of them seen to have quit working. I have replaced the heads on all of them, but that has not made a difference. Are there components in the bottom section where it screws onto the battery that may have burned out? or could the replacement heads be bad? Any help would be appreciated because if there is something I don't know about I don't want to throw them out.

I have had a couple that all of a sudden quit firing. This is what I did and it worked for me. Look at the bottom of the T2 where clearomizer makes contact with the battery. You will see the air hole and a notched area that looks like where a small screw driver would fit. All I did was use my small pliers and grab a hold of the outside of that post (the bottom notched area with the air hole in the middle) and gently pulled the post a small amount towards myself. My guess is the post was not making contact to the battery anymore and by doing this it was able to make contact again and works fine now. You will need to have some pretty small pliers for them to fit in there or maybe just some twezzers would work also. Good luck! Edit just to say make sure you don't pull it too hard. I guess it might could come completely out or damage it maybe I'm not sure, but this did work for me....

Didn't really have any luck with them. Leaky, couldn't get good juice flow. I messed around with the silicone tops, made sure they were tightly screw on, etc. YMMV, but I have had a lot of luck with the stardusts. I'm going to try to rebuildable versions of the stardusts.

It is a trip how different people have such different luck...I didn't like the stardust due to lack of flavor, but the T2's have been really great for me with great performance and flavor. I did have two that cracked after weeks of usage (most likely due to dropping), but for the most part they work great for me with zero leaks....

I actually purchased and received my first T2's today, and I am shocked of the difference between it's pure awesomeness, compared to the startdusts. These are working great out of the gate, and has an airy draw, much to my liking.

Has anyone confirmed their durability to cinnamon juices yet, and how long it'll last? I vape DIY red hots, and is the ultimate tank cracker. So far so good with mine, but my Stardusts held up fine, except for the melting drip tip...

If these hold up to cinnamon, I'll be dumping my provari and genesis mods and stick with these permanently...

The wife's juice is usually hard on clearo shells and I have used different red hot juice as well.
We haven't had any issues to date and it's been several weeks.
One thing we are finding out is that there are knock-off heads floating around and I think it is a 'must' to clean the new long wick heads prior to use.
The OEM heads have a loose flavor strand laying on top of the coil and the knock-offs don't. This may also explain why there might be different views on the T2.

I have a plethora of devices also, but I keep going back to the OEM Kanger T2

That's awesome news, thank you! I have noticed a slight frosting of the tank on the inside, and it's only had my juice in it for about 6 hours, but no signs of cracks and no leaks at all.

I actually received the long-wick versions of the heads, and after about 15 seconds of filling it up, I vaped it, and it tasted far better than any other clearo I've ever tried. No cleaning, no tilting, no modifications in any way.

Hopefully I can get at least a month on these tubes, as if that's the case, I have no problem downgrading to a twist

I've been having problems with heads too. Burned the first one in three days. The second one, even washed twice under the tap took a long time to give in. It did vape but without flavor. After washing I got a little leakage around the bottom, although I let it dry completely for almost 8 hours...

Yup! Why all these different clearos exist, to give us a choice. For me, the T2 didn't really have that great of flavor. But I've had one Stardust in particular that I've been using for over a month with one cleaning. Wonderful taste and TH. I love the adaptability of the ego battery

You have to pry the battery post up. Take a tiny screwdriver (jewelers) and kind of set it next to the post and twist the screwdriver so the battery post kind of revolves a little. Do it from different points around the bat post . You're kind of pulling it up. Your Kanger should work now. Kanger T2's are notorius for doing that and it drives me nuts. So I use a Vivi Nova now.

I don't think so. If you screw it in too far it will make the pull much harder, so when you tighten, don't do it so far.

I don't like the new long wicks. Takes forever for the wicks to get full of juice. The flavor taste a bit bitter to me for awhile. I have saved my cups from the old style but haven't try to reuse any yet. I didn't think to clean them before use. Never had a problem like that with the short wicks. Are you just rinsing them just with water before using them the first time?

I use my Provari with the T2's with an adapter at home. When I go out, i use a twist.

Some cinnamon fogged mine up. Combined with the leaking issue, no more....just ordered some V3 stardusts and 12 replacement heads. That should hold me over

I like EMDCCs for on the go. Haven't let me down.

I trimmed the wick on one of mine and added the cup, works great. The other I left the wicks long, works OK but I think the cup works better. Might just be in my head.....

I tried that also, but over time, the long wicks just grew on me.
Save your cups as I think that the newer revisions come with long wicks, at least my last order did.

Hi judy, I didn't like the long wicks at first either, but i learned from Skelley that you have to clean the replacement heads before you use it the first time......and that probably goes for all this stuff. Use hot water and/or vodka, then let dry overnight. If your replacement heads don't have a flavor wick over the coil, try adding one.....i used a single piece of cotton embroidery floss...preboiled.

Yes, i believe i have read on ECF that, that is possible. The center post of the "head" damages some batteries if it sticks out to far. When i got my Kanger T2 in july, that was my first thought, how easy it would be to overtighten this and damage the battery. So, be very careful tightening it, test fire it, then stop.
