what goes well with scotch and hops?

I'm new to vaping but I'm doing great avoiding the analogs since I got my KGO. I passed day 3 without cigs, which has always been "hell day" for me in previous quitting attempts, without the least bit of discomfort.

Eventually I'm going to be in a situation where I'm drinking with friends who smoke and hopefully I'm not tempted to bum an analog... So can I get some suggestions as to what flavors would pair well with my drinks of choice - scotch and hoppy beer, like pale ales?

I haven't tried any tobacco flavors yet. I smoked Parliaments for years, but quit for a while and then started smoking menthols for some reason. I'm not necessarily opposed to tobacco flavors but kinda afraid of them because since I was smoking the menthols, regular cigarettes tasted really "dirty" to me. But that was probably all the tar and nasty stuff coming through since it wasn't cloaked with the menthol tingle, right? I'm thinking tobacco flavor might be best for drinking, but I really have no idea.

Suggestions, and include vendors. Pretty please

Hi Clovery....I was going to suggest a friend to pick up the tab, but I see you're talking about liquids. I was always a menthol smoker - the stronger the better & actually the last 12 years or so I RYO; pipe tobacco the last 3 yrs (whenever they raised the horrid taxes). You're probably going to have a bit of a tough time finding a menthol to your liking-I did. I have hit on one that's got me hooked - Menthol Blast from Volcano; I get 3 bottles at a time, however, because of the cost I add a lot of my DIY & it works for me. There are zillions to chose from -check out the e-liquid section in the forum here on ECF & see what's getting a lot of raves. I wish you good luck on your new venture......

First of all, congrats on 3 days smoke-free! Unfortunately, no one will be able to tell you what tastes best with what, because taste is SO subjective. My tastes in beverages are pretty similar to yours. With a scotch, I like something that tastes like an analog - I buy Freedom and Cowboy from SmokelessImage.com for those times, but I've found Copper Creek House Blend also tastes great alongside a good scotch. Go figure...

With beer, it's a little more complicated. My favorite is eJoker from Backwoods Brew, but good luck getting it. If you find something you like with a good IPA, please feel free to PM me with the information.

I'm not really looking for a menthol... tbh I started smoking them with the rationalization that "If I don't start smoking my regular brand, I won't get hooked". But then I kinda got hooked on the menthols. I'm doing great just vaping, currently I'm vaping vanilla mint which is great. I have a couple of menthol flavors on their way, but I'm wondering if there are any scotch or hoppy beer drinkers out there who have found a flavor that pairs really well. Thanks for the well wishes - right now I feel awesome and I never ever ever want to go back to analogs There's a half pack here and I'm not even tempted.

forgot to mention that I have a bottle of vanilla bourbon from highbrow on its way - stalking USPS who say it should be here tomorrow. My favorite restaurant - a local microbrew/pub has this sweet potato fries appetizer and they come with four dipping sauces... the best one is a vanilla bourbon sauce which goes perfectly with IPAs. So I have high hopes for that! Based on what I've read, I should let it steep for a week - that'll be a challenge!

I don't have any tobacco liquids at the moment, but I am enjoying Golden Gate Punch (Vapealicious) with a Maker's Mark old fashioned. the orange slice, marashino cherry, Angostura bitters and the sweet Maker's Mark actually go kinda well with the punch vape. Might not be quite what you're looking for, but I'm happy heh there should be a list compiled of drinks and eliquids pairings (if it does not exist yet that is). I'll have to pick up some tobacco liquids again (maybe something from BWB).

The Highbrow Vanilla Bourbon Bean is to die for...but it slays cartos an at astonishing rate. :/

Clovery, I too am a Scotch drinker. My best vape with any kind of whiskey is NiteLiteVaper's Twilite or Vapor4Life's Premium Dunhall.
