what guage is 24g twisted with 24g?

Go to steam engine and plug in 24G. It tells you the size in mm. Multiply by 2 and plug that back in and it should change the gauge automatically to give you your answer.
just tried it. Doesn't work. Sorry bout that. It will calculate for twisted wires though.
I think the cross-sectional area would be close to 21g. But a straight 21g wire will be a lower resistance. What are you trying to calculate?
i did a dual coil twisted 24g with 24g 5 wrap it comes to 0.1ohm but i was just trying to figure out what resistance that wire is
Oh, a twisted coil is going to be a higher resistance than a straight coil of the same circumference. Its because there is a lot more wire used in a twisted coil.
Because two long wires wound together is slightly less efficient than a solid short piece of wire. Its not huge, but there is a noticable difference.
why what? people like experimenting? it hurts nothing if you do it on safe regulated mods
