What happened to the XL3/XL4?

I recently found a video on these on youtube and they look like something I'd be interested in... especially the "mini" version running an 18350. the idea of a very small, VV system for portability / stealth with changable batteries in a reasonable price sounds like fun.

I had a run of bad switches, decided not to buy them anymore.

Looking for it's replacement.

it's a shame when QC fails, thank you for discontinuing them instead of passing on sketchy products to your customers. Keep an eye out, though, for things like this. All the small replaceable battery mods tend to be either telescopes or mechanical, some of them VERY expensive for what they are. If a small, reasonably priced VV with replaceable batteries comes along that has decent QC, I'd be very keen on getting one.
