I saw that too and decided to not get one. I guess they think everyone is running 15 watts or higher. Not me. nautilus mini bvc at 7.5 on the istick. A four second draw gives me plenty of vapor with Beatle juice.

i may get turned into soylent for this but, i think it's mostly a matter of knowing how to tweak things. someone that just started recently didn't have to learn how to maximize vapor production and throat hit within the really narrow confines of 510's,901's and 801's. it's waaay easier to just be able to hit a button to up the power range to compensate for substandard setups in other areas now without having to figure out how to get a good tasting, satisfying vape on locked low voltage.once you learn how to replace cigarettes with a 510 or old school ego and a cart, bvc's and adjustable power are just icing on the cake.

*sets down cane, grumbles about sciatica, puts on sweater and nods off*

I think you've got a point there gutter. We came up thru the ranks with really crappy equipment compared to what is available now and have learned over time how to make things work. I like a good TH and get that at lower wattage with my preferred devices. I have no desire to push the 30, 50, or 100 watt limits.

    No. Cal.
Agreed Gutter and Hitt. Burnt just tastes burnt to me. I love me some big flavor but burnt isn't one of them.

I'm happiest with the short delay that a mechanical mod provides but am in the lower wattage category too. Even a slight decline in ohms matters in the taste department. For me and my Black Clove, 7/8 w/ 28 ga. on 16 ga blunt is perfect at 1.3/ 1.4. (Igo L BF Reo). One less coil yielding 1.2 ohms is just a bit too hot and I get burnt hits every so often. (Even though I know this, I try the lower every so often just to prove my point...hahaha!).

I've been using the same coil in my mini nautilus for over a month. I bought a base and metal tank with the window and made a second mini cheaper than I could buy one. I already had coils so didn't need the kit.

I'll bet OTD would like to have that istick. I already have three.
