My first Mech mod. K100. rarely gets used anymore but its still just as good as it ever was.

I have a Kamry K100 that is one year old now and was used 16/7 for about 8 months and then about 8/7 the rest of the time. The plating on the bottom of the switch button and the side of the 510 connector plate has been worn down through both layers to brass in a couple of spots. It's been dropped, the 510 connector plate has been hammered back on a couple of times, both the 510 and all the body threads are still good as new and as long as I clean it monthly it always fires. Floating pin still works as advertised and the voltage drop is still as low as when it was new. Oh and I put it in a cup of coffee by mistake once, washed it out, wiped it dry and continued vaping.

I think I paid $40 for it locally. At $21.15 from FT shipped, IMO it would be hard to find a better deal in vaping right now :)

I have a two year old eGo 650 battery that still works, but it has not seen anywhere the use the K100 has.

So far only have been at this for about 6 months and my e-go t 1100mah still works great and is a solid backup to my new gear.

(the new gear is great just not as old yet)

My first, a Phidias, acquired almost exactly 3 years ago, is still going strong, as are all of my mods from the first year---Darwin, GLV, Provari (purchased used, version 1), Vmod XL and a couple other classics from the classies (like Roughstack & The Mini Grip Feeder). The mini's/cig alikes are long gone as are my first ego's.

The only mods that have died have been some of the next year's purchases, non USA made mods and quite frankly, cheaper models.
