What I don't miss about smoking:

  • Falling asleep and burning holes in clothes, bedding, carpet and furniture.
  • Burning myself when I fall asleep or nod off.
  • Burning holes in car interior when discarded cigarette .... comes back in the window.
  • Burning myself, my clothes or the car interior when attempting to ash out the partly opened car window fails.
  • Getting wet when it rains due to needing the window partly open to ash cigarettes.
  • Missing the car ashtray often enough that the inside of the console behind the ashtray is full of ash.
  • A car that smells of cigarette smoke.
  • A home that smells of cigarette smoke.
  • Clothes that smell of cigarette smoke.
  • Wearing clothes with burn holes in them or repaired burn holes in them.
  • Asking people to repair burn holes in my clothes.
  • Smelly ashtrays.
  • Spending $120 a week on cigarettes.
  • Knowing the price of smoking often goes up a lot, whenever the government needs more cashflow.
  • Being seriously out of breath after going up 3 flights of stairs.
  • Running out of cigarettes late at night and needing to run out and buy some more.

What I do miss

  • Simplicity.
