alright folks to answer a few of your questions -- 100% vg can be very thick -- there are some vendors that thin theirs and you may need to ask for extra flavor as vg does not handle flavor well -- a lot of juice delivery systems and batteries do not handle it well

check out the general e-juice forum to search for juices you may be interested in -- lots of good info and good juice providers listed there

yes have backups of your backups of your backups for everything not just batteries -- juice, adapters, chargers etc (yes the cat did eat through one of my charging cords  )

steeping is required for most juices the most common practice is to take the cap and drip nib off for a night or two to let any alcohol used in making the juice to evaporate then put cap and nib back on and a week or two in a nice dark place -- at this point i do it for all needed or not

note some juices can take longer than 2 weeks so never give up on a juice and yes you can keep juices for a year or more though not recommended usually by 2 months time if a juice is not good by then well it probably is just not good

please remember taste is subjective for example i have a friend who swears he tastes chocolate in a vanilla tobacco juice that tastes vanilla to me -- go figure

edit please remember to shake shake shake that juice often while steeping

great tips! I have been vaping since Jan 2012 and I have one thing to add....Vape meets!! Look in your area for a local Vape meet to make friends, try different juices and check out other peoples set ups! We have a few local vendors that come to ours here in Phoenix and its awesome! Its been a huge help to me and has been a fantastic resource!

I have read a few tips for beginners and this is echoing a lot of those. However, why do you believe somebody should start 100% VG? I recall some tips that stated to kind of mix the pg/vg at first due to VG being sort of like syrup, clogging some of the 'lesser' PVs.

I havent received my stuff just yet, but I have sunk a few bucks in to various places for eliquid. I have been avoiding straight 100%s due to what I had read but if thats not really an issue then I may try my luck.

I will be starting with a eGo-T - 1100mAh eGo-T Kit
So, I guess what I am asking here, for me and the eGo - will the 100% VG juice be an issue?

I highly recommend you get the ego-v if you're going with a pen style kit.

DoctorJ: I am sure I could easily find this elsewhere, but maybe no need if the answer is this simple. I've seen "steeping" mentioned a lot... Is that really just meaning to let a new bottle of juice sit for a while? Nothing else?

Look up the word "hyperbole" and apply that to section of my post on steeping.

I can add another tip that I have learned in just the first few days of vaping. Along with having spares of spares get a case or something to keep everything in. I have a couple setups and a couple bottles of juice that I carry with me at all times. However, just last night I left my juice bottles at the office so when I ran out at home I had to go to an analog to finish my night. I have a case ordered and should have it in the mail today. It will make it much easier to keep up with everything. Especially if you're forgetful like I am.

Couldn't agree more, got to have back ups. I tried a couple of cases for ecigs but find they're too bulky so I'm using a Lowepro compact camera case I picked up from walmart which will hold 2 650 mAh batts, a clearo or 3.5 mL tank, a couple of cartos or attys and a 10 mL bottle of juice. I usually use a 1000 mAh twist but if something happens to it I've got the 650s.

Thanks for sharing. I'm still learning, one thing also making sure you always have a back-up batteries. I have one kit in my bag, one in my office, one in the car, on my kitchen, 4 extra 18650 batt. and 5 chargers. My experienced was horrible when I ordered my first kit before c'mas didn't know the battery only last certain times or how many counts of vape and I run out prefilled atomizers and no juice on hand. Then I ordered while waiting have to smoke analog here and there. Lesson I've learned is to stock up on everything.
