I was so excited to get my vapemail but had some concerns and defective product. They didn't want to resolve so I wrote them "nicely" that I would review their company on ECF and post it in the negative supplier reviews with my reasons, then contact my credit card company to report my concerns. Guess what? They decided to correct the matter. So if you're new to buying from online vendors try to work it out in a professional manner. Having emails as a record will help you if you need to report it to your credit card company. Let's make sure that these suppliers know that ECF members are professional and we don't want "bad" products or unsatisfactory customer service.

Sadly that type of thing really turns people off to vaping. As big as our community is here I think we are such a small percentage of the people who vape at least for a little while. I can't tell you how many people I've talked to that said they tried vaping and got turned off for one reason or another. Typically it's the crappy Blue cigs or whatever you buy at Walgreens that ends up turning people sour on vaping all together. Crappy online vendors are most likely another hurdle the uninformed user will have to deal with because for every one of you that is proactive about spreading the word about mediocre service I bet theres a lot of people who would complain, get a negative result and then just give up. Good on you though.

Good for you. I'm glad you had gotten the satisfaction. I had s similar problem about a defective product. The vendor kept giving me excuses of why it was my fault after two days of ownership. I posted about it here on ECF ( the problem with the mod, not the bad vendor...... got as flurry of information from all of you out there. I then sent the vendor the entire thread, copy and pasted. ............. guess what ?

My credit was on my card within hours. Yeah, I would say we as a community are a pretty powerful voice within the realm of vaping.

Good work Flexjuice.

Those people were not ready to give up smoking. You are right about lots and lots of people are perfectly happy being a victim. They would rather walk around shouting how unfair it all is vs doing something about it. It applies to pretty much everything not just ecigs.

On the other end of the spectrum we have the Captain Justice type who is chomping at the bit to fight and stick it to the man any given opportunity. Im more in this category;-) It takes allot of energy and time!

Change is never simple there is always new things to learn and adapt to with any change. When someone says its to hard or to complicated or to messy or what ever excuse they laydown what they are really saying is Im lazy and Im not uncomfortable enough in my present situation to do anything different.

Yep, we are a force to be reckoned with. The items in question probably cost a few dollars. If they want to keep their few precious dollars they can potentially lose a thousand of them once people see negative reviews. I like to give people the benefit of doubt like a new employee in training or small ma-pa operations. I'm patient to a degree then the corded whips come out.

Good job there jongilbert, happy vaping to you!

It's always helpful to read and understand the vendors' terms and conditions. That way, if you ever have a problem and you find them acting outside of the stated bounds, nail'em with their own rules.

However, if something happens that's not covered under their T&C, then all you can do is walk away and find someone else to do business with.
