A way to charge multiple eroll batteries at once without the pcc.......

Anyone figured out a way to do this? The pcc is the weak link for this device as you are basically paying $40 or so for a battery. I could see making a nice box to carry about 10 charged erolls with cartridges that would get me through the day, bypassing the whole pcc and switching/refilling thing.

That's an excellent idea, I was thinking about something very similar only the other day, carrying around 10 precharged/prefilled eRolls in a cigarette case, but the charging of 10 eRolls would be a pain.

But I suppose suppose once you got all your eRolls charged, you could just pop the discharged eRoll into the PPC as you go along.

I agree. I was thinking the same thing. Why carry the pcc if you have 10 batteries all charged and filled. Short of setting my alarm every couple of hours to charge another battery, I couldn't come up with anything.

Didn't some one have a pcc die on them? I wonder if the pcc will still charge a battery stick if the pcc battery is dead when it is plugged in.

I have a pcc that quit charging. It appears the usb connection went bad. That instigated my thinking on this. I hate $30-$40 just for the pcc when I have plenty of batteries. If a rig could be made where you can just insert multiple batteries to charge it would be good to just put them all in at night and in the morning have 10 charged.

Beyond my capabilities I am afraid.

Wouldn't 10 bats cost more than a pcc

I do think a larger pcc shaped like an old school metal cig case, with space for 2 o 3 cigs an 10 spare carts or a slim (5ml?) juice bottle would be fantastic

Yeah, but the batts go bad one every 6 months or even less often so it is like $8 for six months. A PCC goes bad about as often apparently.

I can see myself just buying more batteries and a cone for each (about $12.00) if my PCCs are still working fine but breaking down the individual costs of items in the kit, the kit is more economical... of course who needs that many cables and blocks? The cost of those is better spent on atties and tanks.

I hear ya:toast:
