I have an RN4081 that I use for dripping, and a 510 that I just plain love.

But today I had some juice that had almost no throat hit.
And I really, really like that, since I don't really give a crap about throat hit.
In fact, it would probably be much more fair to that say I don't really like a throat hit at all.

I'd buy the juice I had today that gave me almost no throat hit, but it smells and tastes like perfume.
You may know which brand I am talking about.

Anyway, is there anyone else out there like me, who wants to minimize the throat hit with good vapor?

My guess is that I need to find a juice that can pull it off.
But I have never seen ANYBODY talking about trying NOT to get a throat hit.

Anyone?
Bueller?

Is this thing on?

Couple suggestions ...

If you want to keep a zero throat hit, you can either add more Pure PG or VG, which will bring both the flavor and throat hit down quite a bit, and/or add some Bickford or Loranne's flavorings ...

Example:
18mg Tobacco - Medium Throat hit - Average flavor ...
Cut it with 50 VG to drop the throat hit (At the same time mellowing out the flavor) then add a flavor (bickfords/loranne's) to the mix to bring flavor back up.

I kind of know what you're saying. Sometimes the throat hit feels more like throat irritation.

I just got some coffee liquid from The Widow and the throat hit isn't in the same league as the tobacco liquid I got from her. And after getting used to it, I do kind of like it. But I couldn't recommend the flavor as an every day smoke (but it goes great with a cup of coffee).

So I'd also be interested in hearing if there's any really smooth tobacco flavors w/ minimal throat hit. Flavor is important to me. Maybe just getting a VG tobacco liquid might help? Though I'm not sure if VG will mellow out the flavor.

Try ECOpure's "Rich" "low nic". Smooth but lots of vapor.
I get more of a consistant throat hit from Ecopure than any other liquid! (But I do agree about the 'low-nic' giving lower / no throat hit..... that's definitely the way to go if less throat hit is required, and I also can recommend the 'Rich' as well :) )

I have another thread exploring the idea of PG vs VG because that is what I was thinking as well. But I'm worried because it sounds like VG is more viscous and might not wick as well, and also some things I have been hearing about VG possibly gumming up atomizers a little more. If both those things are true then I might just lean towards dealing with the throat hit if I have to.

But I was thinking of picking up some VG from Johnson Creek with my next order, just to try it.

It seems that the less nicotine content I use, the less of a throat hit. If you want zero or very low nicotine it should be quite easy to achieve. What level of nicotine do you use?
I've been using 11mg but I am in the process of dropping to 6m going forward.
I'm guessing that will help, although I still don't understand why yet.
:)

I find the fruit flavors have less of a throat hit than the tobacco or minty flavors. You might want to try some fruit flavors.
I've tried a couple now, and they aren't my cup of tea it seems.
I find I like the richer, darker type flavors like coffee and tobacco and vanilla ice cream.

But yeah, I'm still fooling around with flavors.
Just ordered a real nice sampler from myfreedomsmokes.com.
