Well my ego just does not seem to be giving me the Hit i am after so i was told i may want to step up to a higher voltage unit. But I am on a budget now after initial cost of getting my starter ego kit and and accessories. So what are some good budget 5v systems preferably pre built as i just do not have the confidence to build or mod one myself.

I really love this mod:
Gold Digger

And this is why:
Less than $100 for the mod, 2 sets of batts and a charger. I love mine, not scared to drop it (and I do!) and I get a day from one set of batts. You can use the 18650's for long term 3.7v vaping if you want to, but it just rocks at 5v with two of the 18350's.

The Big Kazoo from Kalamazoo Vapor Shop is really good. Mine has been 100% for several months. $34.99.

+1. The Big Kazoo is a solid mod at an excellent price and, unlike most of its competitors. the wiring is sealed into the compartment with an epoxy shield of sorts. The button is excellent and it has a reliable on/off switch as well. A Big Kazoo is what I take with me to work everyday, lately paired with 3.0ohm Boge cartomizers.

Just by the 5v Batt and charger from Jason over at Electronicstix dot com, his 5v Batt is the same size as an 18650 and immediately turns any unit that holds an 18650 into 5v vaping machine!

I saw this on his site the other day and was kind of confused. At one point on the page it says same size as an 18650 and at another point says same size as a 14650. Also, the picture has the battery showing 4.8V on the casing.

There's two, there's one that is approx 14650 size (4 x 1/3rd AA cells) and one that is approx 18650 size (4 x 1/3rd A cells). I think there is a mistake on one of the descriptions.

They are made up of four 1.2v NiMh cells wrapped in series, hence the 4.8v rating.
