An Ego Twist with a Kanger Protank is starting to become the go to set up with the folks who vape around here, small, compact and cheap. If you search the reviews, the twist and the Protank always get great reviews. I love my twist, even though I upgraded I always keep a few charged and ready to go. The Protank is awesome, It will grow with you, they are supper easy to rebuild if you want to wrap coils, or if not, new heads are cheep. If and when you move up to different mods the Protank will most likely move with you.

P.S. I mean here as in around where I live, I have no idea what the go-to set up on ECF is

yeah I dont know about the guy saying the protank gets nothing but good reviews and its the go to starter tank...Protanks have tons of issues, leaking, muted flavor that takes a long time to break in(and still never goes away completely), metallic taste, cold and uncomfortable mouthpiece, pretty high price point, poor wicking that needs to be fixed in most cases and flat out either wont wick thicker juices or needs wicks to be taken out in which case it starts leaking even worse. Oh, and the draw is horrible and also needs to be McGyvered to work properly. Its like trying to vape through a straw. I would not recommend that as a starter delivery system, starting out youre gonna want something easy and foolproof.

I like the stardusts myself because theyre simple, less conspicuous than the other tanks and clearos, and give good flavor and all have wicked perfectly across the board with juice consistencies. Vivi novas give good flavor and vapor and are fairly simple as well, I just think they look too much like a ________ which I cant say because of the forum rules, but anytime Ive gotten comments or jokes or assumptions about what I was vaping being illegal substances it was when I was using the vivinova. I dont honestly use anything but a volt cigalike out of the house 90% of the time for that reason. Anyway Id say volt or e roll for something less conspicuous, and probably the vivi nova and a twist for home. I think APV's are overkill honestly, I have a Vamo and a provari and never use them because theyre heavy and dont add anything substantial to my vaping experience.

When did you pick up a ProVari, Altaire?! Sorry to hear you're not enjoying it...

A PV like the ProVari does, in my opinion, add something pretty darn "substantial" to my vaping experience! I wouldn't drop $200 on a mod if it didn't. Before someone accuses me of being a fanboy: this isn't about ProVaris specifcially. I'm about to spend another $200 on a Super T Precise ELA. Why? Because a well executed mechanical mod offers a completely different vaping experience to a regulated VV/VW device.

That doesn't mean you can't get a really good vape off of lower priced gear: I still take my eGo Twists and Smok DCTs with me every time I leave the house. That's what I've got in my hand right now. Thing is, I can't wait to get back home later tonight and hit up a Cisco LR510 on my Silver Bullet.

Fasttech has some really cheap stuff. I bought all my original equipment from american websites and paid over $100 for all my stuff. I use fasttech for my ego 650 batteries around five a piece and a six pack of CE5's is around 8, plus a charger for around 2. I am sure all of these are cheap clones but before you waste a lot of money it may be nice to try different things at a cheaper price. It does take about two weeks to get to you though, so keep that in mind.
