I have an 18650 sigelei Chi-U that im currently using a Tobh Atty dripper with a 24 gu 6/5 wrap on rayon. I havent picked up an ohm reader yet but last i was at a vape store it read .27. I love the set up but am having a hard time finding a free hand to drip with at work and driving. What is a good rebuildable tank atomizer that i can use on my set up while i only have one free hand?

The Kayfun-style RTA are extremely popular. Kayfun Lite Plus, Russian 91%, and all of their clones.

How does that work like a tank? Does the juice set under the cotton and get wicked up?
The tank works via negative pressure, or a vacuum (like a cartotank). The tank section is above the build deck, so its not fighting gravity like a Genesis-style tank is.

The coil is built over the air inlet, and the cotton is flayed out like pigtails, the ends of which barely touch the bottom of the deck where the juice grooves (see last pic above) are. The vacuum created by vaping pulls more liquid through the grooved slots from the tank to the wicks. In the last pic, you are looking at the build deck without the upper chimney in place.

There is no position dependency with a Kayfun, unlike a Genesis-style tank which likely will leak if not kept upright. The draw is somewhat on the tight side because of the size restriction of the air inlet. More than likely, larger holes would upset the vacuum in the tank.

Svoemesto is the original manufacturer, and there are several different designs/models: Kayfun 3.1, Kayfun lite, Kayfun lite v2 (edit: that would be the Kayfun lite plus, I think, or is there a Kayfun lite plus v2?), Kayfun lite v3, Kayfun 2.1 (smaller diameter), big Kayfuns (not sure about the model name. Larger diameter, higher capacity).

Hi, The original manufacturer is SvoeMesto. If you keep a look out for used Kayfun on the Buy, Sell, Trade section of this forum. I have bought several Kayfuns from the Kayfun Lite to a Kayfun Plus V2. I bought a Kayfun V2 Plus for $65.00 last week. I just got today and it is in great condition. A new one is about $130.00. I love my Kayfuns because you can taylor your coils to suit the juice your using. Well that's my :2c:

That's awesome. I'll have to keep an eye out.

That being said, while waiting or saving for a fancy new one do any of you have any opinions on a cheapo clone that may be worth trying at least until one were to find one/afford one, to get a feel for it. Or better off waiting for the real deals?

EDIT:
Actually I may have found an answer to that. For anyone else I suppose.

Seems some people are decently happy with some of their clones. But $40 and a possible $60 in classified. Woo. Might want to wait. But then again if those of us in the new members forum I'm sure it will be a while before browsing classifieds.

Bad....I just got a new kayfun lite plus and they added an airflow adjustment screw....I like it very much!

(sent from Mars, it's not as red as I imagined.)

I recommend the taifun gt. It's rediculously easy to build and holds a lot of juice.

That will be my next one....but all I see are clones and lots of them. What's the best taifun clone?

I can vouch for the kayfun lite plus though...easy build and sweetest vape I have experienced thus far....it is not at all fussy and doesn't leak.... :)

I can vouch for ehpro kayfun clone also. Quality is top notch. Even threads are perfect which is a miracle for a clone. I like vaping the fogger better but a pita to get working right and build quality not so great. If u have patience the fogger is worth the effort a but the kayfun is way less trouble and more consistent.
