What is a hybrid?

I've seen these a lot lately. I'm not sure what exactly they are. I was also looking at the Zenesis 2 sometime in the future.

It's a rebuildable genisis atomizer fixed to a battery tube with some form of mechanical switch to activate power to the coil. Hybrids like the Nosmoker orion's have electronic switches instead of mechanical but same principle.

Zen fr Zenesis, and imagine others r trying to adopt an industry standard threading to be able to use other types of atomizers on top of battery tubes like his. I thought I saw someone put a kayfun on top of his Zen 2. So potentially down the line as long at the atty will detach fr the batt tube of the hybrid u could use other type of attys with it. So u get no 510 connection and direct attachment to battery.

This seems a lot less interesting to me now. Although they do look good.

The draw of the hybrid is that you that don't lose power between the battery and the atomizer, as you do with regular mechs that have a connection (like 510). Meaning you get a better vape.

That is what I've heard, no actual experience. They do look cool, but I'm still getting my kicks off of my Zmax and MVP
