A battery mod for your 901 could make a big difference!

If you do purchase a battery mod, you can use adapters to run different types of attys, so you will only have to buy an atomizer, rather than all the starter kit full of stuff you really don't need should you decide you don't like that atomizer model.

Love my Chucks THAG BUILT: A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing! and my Silver Bullet AltSmoke | Personal Vaporizers - Ecigs : The Yeti, JOYE510, DSE901 and More! Both sell atomizer adapters as well.

Smaller box mods can be had for around $35-50. A good source for reading about mod models available can be found at e-Cigarette modifications | e-Savuke.com and at E-cig News: A run-down of all the big battery model e-cigarettes on the market

If you are really looking to try something new, try out a 510 kit (no box) from Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. for $35 or the disposable version for around $10 from many of the suppliers to get an idea if it is for you. It is probably the most popular e-cig on the market. I love mine. downside is the battery life, so getting the longer mega batteries (4 hours) is recommended. Again... a mod on the 510 atty is great.
