My head is really wrecked, I have spent 2 hours searching and watching videos and dont understand how the cartomizers fit to the Janty eGo even with the adapter. From what I see the Janty cartridges push onto the atomizer which doest have any threads and the adapters do, so dont know how the adatper works or connects to the Janty eGo atomizer. I now know the cartomizers screw onto the adapter and you smoke straight off the cartomizer just cant understand how the adapter can screw onto to an atomizer which uses push in cartridges and has no threads. So the only conclusion I can come to is I dont use the Janty eGo Atomizer.

Really need someone to explain this.

I just want to order a Janty eGo, adatper and empty catomizers.

Think my head is going to explode any minute now:)

I had the same problem when first starting out..

Automatics you dont have much control over but manual 510 I have you are in control..I do vape with automatics some times but I have developed a technic of slow puffing to much heavy puffing got juice in the mouth....

I would suggest any model with manual.I found I had more control of it..

I use the auto when playing my wii games...But I learned to control it...

It's a matter of two piece or three piece design...

* You have the 'battery' itself, which has a threaded connector on it.
* That connector is threaded to fit a particular model of atomizer or cartomizer.
* You can use an adapter which has threads that match the battery on one side, but accepts threads of a different size/model on the other side, thus allowing you to use other atomizers or cartomizers than the battery was 'made for'.
* You can use either an atomizer + push-on cartridge, or a cartomizer, but you would never use both at the same time (though you could switch back and forth if you liked).

Does this help any?

Bottom line: Make sure you get the right adapter for the cartomizers, and your order sounds just fine (ego + adapter + cartos).

Don't forget plenty of juice! :)

Alright - here you go.

I had my eGo/Tornado setup with a 510 cart and atomizer....so I went ahead and put a cartiomizer on it, and took some pictures of each step along the way. Luckily I happened to have a black cart and a white atomizer on there - so you can pretty clearly see how & where they fit together.

Probably way more than you needed...

Normally I just keep the adapter on the cartomizers I have - but I took it off in the pics so you could see it separately.

Sorry about the dim lighting - it's awfully dark in here, and I took these quickly.
By the way, if you compare the first and last shots (of the fully assembled eGo/Tornado with the 510 cart and the one with the 808 cartomizer) you'll see what I was talking about with the tip being a little shorter with the cartomizer on it. It's not a big deal, but it does feel a little bit different when you vape it.

Hope these help clear things up for you.

EDITED TO ADD:
DAMN, just caught my typo in the pics... that close up of the adapter should say "510 BATTERY THREADS" not 501. Ah well.
:)

Max of 5 file attachments...so here are the rest of the pics for you...

EDITED TO ADD:
By the way, in that middle picture I didn't screw the cartomizer or the battery into the adapter...they're just kind of sitting on eachother so you could clearly see them.

Not quite...

* Remember, you EITHER will use an atomizer + cartridge, OR a cartomizer (which combines those two things into one thing).

* The 801 uses a Cartridge + Atomizer, the 808 (KR808) is a cartomizer model. There is no '808 Atomizer'

I'm assuming the eGO is threaded for 510 from what you said, so it would be:

Janty eGO-->510 to 808 battery adapter-->Cartomizer

(and if you have 510 supplies, you can of course use those directly).

Correct, it is.

Janty eGO-->510 to 808 battery adapter-->Cartomizer (and if you have 510 supplies, you can of course use those directly).
Exactly.

Just to reiterate what BlueAdept already told you - there is no "808 atomizer"

If you look over the pictures I posted for you you'll see I removed the 510 Cart and the 510 atomizer and added the 808 cartomizer.

Man I feel like a right plum for not catching on, hint was in the name cartomizer

I think my brain has finally caught up!

Now when I went to order off Janty dealer here in the UK they are Out Of Stock....lol:)
Just gets better.

Finding it hard to get the adapter and Cartomizers over here as well. Just out of curiousity, how long would you normally get out off a cartomizer?
Its just if I'm finding it hard to get them here it might be better just to stick to the ordinary cartridges as I would have to keep getting them sent over from USA and would not be very economical.
I was also looking at a thing called the "Screwdriver MII" over here which seems to be getting some good reports and looks a bit like the Silver Bullet.
Can't stick this 901 automatic any longer. I've been off the traditional cigs a week now and so far I'm on my second atomizer 2 new batteries and used 1 1/2 bottles off 26mg coconut eliquid, I just think thats a bit much. Maybe I just need to find that routine and good ecig that I'm comfortable with.

The help I'm getting from you guys is great, God knows what I would have bought next had I not joined this site, probably a Tractor with an hose attached to the exhaust and hardwired into my lungs:)

Thank you so much justsomeguy for the photos and everyone else you been excellent.

When you say 'how long do you get from a cartomizer', do you mean how many refills / average lifespan? If so, I've read reports that they can be refilled dozens and dozens of times, but don't know the 'average lifespan'.

I've been at it 2 weeks and have yet to experience any equipment failures at all. Am vaping pretty heavily on my 4075 and Vapor King both, probably about 3.5-4ml a day.

If the cartomizers are not readily available, but other supplies are, then that would certainly have to be a factor too... Having to wait for shipping / pay duties is a huge drag unless you can afford to place huge orders to offset it.

I don't believe any tech you choose is going to significantly change the amount of liquid used (I noticed you mentioned that in your list), but perhaps a passthrough device would be good to consider also, so that you only need the batteries when you're not near USB Power. They can fail too, but last much longer than batteries do. Just check to see if the one you're getting has an 'inline battery' or not. Mine does not, which I prefer.

Again, good luck in making a choice that works for you! It can get a little difficult and somewhat pricey sometimes trying to dial in on the system you need, and everyone is different. Hope our advice is helpful to you.

All advise is really helpful, I now have a better understanding of how these devices really work. I have found another one that looks just like the Janty eGo called "Wicked-TORNADO E-NI" from totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk, so I'm concidering getting this one, only thing is it doesnt have any adapters etc. I'll wait until about Wednesday before I order and have a good shop around, although thats what I've pretty much been doing for the last 2 days....lol.
Anyways, I'll let you know how I get on. I know one thing for certain, I dont want to return to tradional cigs again. I have never had as much energy in my life.
Gonna hit bed now, been on this PC all day:)

Cheers

Ok guys,

I got my Totally Wicked TORNADO E-NI this morning. I know I only have the DSE 901 to compare too but this piece of kit has totally blown me away. I have had a few vapes of the eliquid I'm using at the minute (Xhigh Coconut) and what a difference. I also ordered Red Bull flavour and Menthol and they are great tasting vapes as well. I love this even though I've only had a few vapes as I am waiting to get a full charge into one off the batteries. I ordered a Mega Atomizer and the Mega Carts but don’t think much off them as I can't really get much vape out off them although maybe they just need broke in.
Really glad I got your advice guys, as I said before; God knows what I would have ended up buying.
I'll get the batteries charged up and get back in a few days and let you know how things are going.

Really guys, thank you for everything, I never want to smoke traditional cigs again, if items like these are available people who are aware and not using them are missing out the benefits off Vaping instead off smoking and if they still don’t vape then I guess its just pure ignorance.

Thank you so much.
