What is an analog?

I have been smoking an e-cig for about 6 months now and just recently joined the ECF (great help by the way, thank you to all of you) but I keep seeing talk of analogs. Can anyone help me with some of the terminology on this site please??

it's a cigarette. There is a glossery around here someplace I'm sure someone will direct you to it. Also if you see a term that is underlined like pv (personal vaporizer) might show up as in this comment you can click on it.
