hey guys, i'm new to the site and ecigs in general. right now i am using an elight elite that i got from a kiosk in the mall (innovativesmoking.com). i'm not real thrilled with it and have had a lot of trouble as far as batteries dying, new cartomizers being dried out, non-refillable, overpriced cartomizers, etc. I am looking for just a standard e-cig that i can use a cartomizer with that i can refill and that looks like a normal cigarette. i don't know all the lingo you use such as KR808 and all of that, so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

If you are dead set on an ecig that is about the same size and shape of an analog I'd take a look at this kit-

510 Manual Battery Carto Kit

If you could live with something a little bigger in diameter look into something like this-

Hello 016 Carto Kit

Something like the hello-016 and the eGo will be a much smarter purchase in the long run. Once you start juggling those mini batteries every hour and taking 4 of them with you everywhere you learn to not worry about the size of the ecig lol.

I'd second the eGo sentiment..

aditionally there are 510 cartos that will fit it natively...
and you can get an adapter to use KR808d-1 cartos on it as well...
I'd look toward the e2 cartos or the boge made cartos (vapornine sells them as turbos, nhaler sells them as mega cartos...couple of other places too)

looking at the one you got... and it's hard to tell exactly what it is exactly...
it almost looks like a 306 knock off (they do make atties and cartos for it)...or a L88B.. (which is the same thing as a blu)
and if it is a 306 it very well may be threaded the same as a 510 or eGo kit...

Third vote for the eGo. I got a starter kit with two complete eGo's and an extra battery. I use both off and on all day with different flavors in each, and have never had to pull out the spare battery. One day I'll vape just one to give the battery a really good test, but I think skipping straight to the eGo (even though I originally wanted a more analog sized ecig) has greatly enhanced my first impressions of vaping. Can't advise on the cartomizers yet.

i love the ego. if i had started with a lower end battery i may not have had the same awsome results. the ego batts last and last. if thats a little out of the price range i would look at a basic 510 mabee pick up a few extra batts or a car charging adaptore. the nice thing about starting with a reg 510 kit is all your carts attys and cartos would be compatable with the ego if you ever desided to upgrade latter. ive done buisness with d@m nere all the supliers listed here. and they are all pritty good.
but by fare cignot has the best custimer service. Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. and there prices are verry resonable.

Same as John.
Got my eGo (My first and only e-cigs so far) on Monday and have not smoked an analog since. I feel spoiled now reading so many comments about the shorter battery life with the smaller e-cigs and others getting stuck with one that cannot use common parts. Very, VERY few times in my life have I been this happy with a purchase.
