Blu is an excellent e cig for people looking for an easy to use and portable pv. Due to their size the batteries don't hold charge as long as some of the other e cigs on the market. Blu's prefilled cartomizers are high quality and can be refilled. The vapor production is just as strong as a standard 510 kit. Its all according to what your looking for in an e cig though. If you want longer lasting battery charges or your looking for an e cig that resembles a small pipe bomb then the blu is probably not for you.

Maybe its changed but my attys and batts failed within 2 weeks of receiving my blu. Also It was nearly impossible to get any vapor from the blu. The cut off was unpredictable but hovered around 1 second most times. Batts died in about 4 minutes on me everytime and I was forced to light up analogs every single time I tried to vape instead of smoking. The blu is the biggest piece of crap Ecig I have ever used and is well known through the vaping community as a complete waste of money no matter what you are looking for.

Interesting - Blu's website claims that their Johnsons Creek juice has only "100% USA ingredients that are propylene glycol free" - so is this some special VG only recipe that Johnsons only make for them, or is it some cynical attempt at reassuring those ignoramuses who think that 'propylene glycol' = anti-freeze?

going to have to disagree on this one, I have two friends who purchased blu's and ive tried them with several different flavors, they dont put out anywhere near the vapor of a kr808, or any other setup I have ever tried, they both decided it wasn't enough to deal with nic cravings and are back on analogs. if you want something small with a PCC there are many better options out there, bloog's maxxfusion mini pcc (kr808 shorties with an included PCC) comes to mind but there are many others.

I'm still a noob, myself, but I liked Blu quite a bit. I started vaping less than a month ago, with a Blu starter kit. I have since switched to a T-Rex (...it's an eGo, basically, with a slightly bigger battery) because the teeny little Blu batteries just didn't hold their charge long enough. I would suck one dead before the spare had time to charge and then smoke an analog cigarette or two while I waited for the batteries to catch up to me. Other than the lousy battery life, though, I liked pretty much everything about them. As a vaping starting point, Blu was a joy and a revelation. Small, lightweight, VERY cigarette-like and, freshly opened, the Blu cartomizers easily produce as much or more vapor than I'm getting from my T-Rex in any configuration from dripping onto the atomizer through various (510) carts and cartomizers. I liked their "Classic Tobacco" and "Java Jolt" flavors so much I recently bought more to use on my T-Rex while I search for comparable/better juices. (Aside: I think they're probably Johnson Creek VG "Tennessee Cured" and "Espresso" but the higher nic levels I currently prefer don't taste quite as nice.)

I'm not USING my Blu-cigs any more (except for dress-up occasions, they're quite stylish looking) but I don't regret the money I spent to START with them at all. If I had STARTED with the T-Rex and any of the absolutely dreadful juices I first purchased I would not have lasted a week before buying a carton of analogs.

No they're not ideal for me, probably not ideal for any heavy smoker/vaper, but they're not a bad place to start.
