What is Ego cone Thread pitch?

Anyone out there know the thread and pitch for the Ego/riva Cone... I want to make some rings to hide the threads on the battery since i dont use the cone a whole lot.

Not sure. When I don't know a thread size, I take the part to my hardware store and start threading in bolts until I find the one that fits.

that would probably be a bit of a pain, since its a Fine thread probably not a in stock item.. i just wondering so i could get the appropriate tap/die.
