I just got my dct and all I get is airy draws I am running a smoktech dct with a twist I have tried all different voltages to no avail please feel free to leave comments and suggestions

what type of carto are you using?

i might suggest a 510-510 adapter to snug up the draw.

Could be a number of things.

It could be a bad cartomizer. Certainly would not be unheard of. The quality control of many manufacturers leaves much to be desired, especially if they are the cheaper no-name brands. There are also reports of knock-offs being sold as a name brand carto.

Not my intention to be insulting, but since you do have a low post total, I can only assume you are relatively new to vaping and cartotanks.

Is your cartomizer in your tank "punched"? (hole for the juice to wick from the tank into the cartomizer)

Did you fill the cartomizer properly with juice before assembling your cartotank and then filling the tank itself?

What is the pg/vg ratio of the juice you are using. A juice that is very thick, like AVE's Boba's Bounty is 100% vg, can be a real challenge to use in a cartotank.

Did you view any demo videos on how to fill a cartomizer and assemble/fill a cartotank?

yes I am using 100 percent pg the carto is punched I just recently found this forum but I have been vaping for 3 months and yes I did watch a few different videos I have 1 more Cardo but don't want to waste it

Airy draws? Is there no vaper at all? Does the cartomizer screw all the way onto the connector pin of your Twist to make an electrical connection?

If the connection is snug w/o over-tighening, I can only guess you have a dud carto. I would empty the tank of juice into a small container (use either a needle/syringe or just turn it upside down and allow the juice to drip out), and fill the other cartomizer and see if that one works or does the same thing....process of elimination.

I just tried that 8 does produced some paper just not very much at all I put in the new car go and it is a little bit better but not much not at all what it should be producing I'm starting to sink that 3 ohm dual coil is my problem I think I'm going to buy 2.4 single could do you have any ideas on where I could get a good 1 should I go with a boge?

Correct me if im wrong here but doesnt a 3 ohm dual coil need close to 6 volts?

The dct tank requires 45mm length cartos (XL). I think Boge does make XL size cartos, but I don't know any vendors that sell pre-punched cartos for them.

if you do a 2.4 ohm, try it at about 4.0-4.2V, If you drop down to a 1.5-1.7 ohm try it at 3.3V and move up to 3.7V
