What is legal and what is not

Hi, I'm new to vaping and I'd like to know is it actually illegal to be in possession of a vape. I'm aware that selling, importing and distributing is clearly a no-no, but when it comes to possession it seems like a grey area to me. Really appreciate it if someone could help me out!
