Honestly I do no know how PEG would be used with e-cigs.

Propylene glycol (PG) is considered safe since it breaks down in the body to pyruvate which is a natural product of glycolysis.

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is considered unsafe since it breaks down to chemicals which crystallize in the body. It can also upset the acid/base balance.

Thanks. I thought it was odd to see that in the abbreviation thread for new members. I hope no one confuses the two!

Some people use it, but I'm with Ast_Isis, vaping it can be a problem. Vaping a poly-anything is not a good idea at all. You definitely do not want polymers in the lungs or blood. IMHO, this is chemical foolishness, but that doesn't stop some from using it. It had a moment of small popularity a couple months back, but I've not read anything recently about people using it...maybe they are in the hospital now. 8-o Stick to PG or VG.
